We enjoyed our stay with Luciano. He was especially helpful finding us a restaurant the first day we arrived; he made the call for us to 'Amici miei' , highlighted our route on a map, told us where to park, etc. The next morning we had the pleasure to share Easter breakfast with a large family reunion group from Italy-... more

After reading all the great reviews we were really excited about staying here. When we arrived we were told that the room we had chosen was not available but they had other rooms we could choose. We picked one of the rooms not in the main house. I think this was our mistake because the room was not great. It... more

Lovely views of Piazza Armerina and very nice and social breakfasts in the morning. Very hospitable owners and staff. Coffee and tea also offered in the afternoon in a lovely setting. Central area tastefully decorated and welcoming. We found the guided tour of Villa Romana del Casale helpful and they will add the cost (about 20 euros a couple) to... more

This B&B is in a lovingly restored 19th-century house with a great view of Piazza Armerina. Our room and bath were beautifully designed in keeping with the character of the house, but modern and comfortable. In late November, the place had the feel of a mountain refuge. The owner, Luciano, is one of the reasons to visit Sicily. Warm and... more

My husband and I had the honor to spend one night at La Casa Sulla Collina D'oro in Piazza Armerina this September. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. The property is located on a hill that overlooks the town. The views from the back of the house are spectacular. Luciano, the owner and host, is such... more

It is definitelly the best B&B in Sicily. There are many things the others should learn from Luciano, the owner, including his slow food concept! more

This was the nicest B&B we stayed in during our trip. The location was excellent, offering nice views of the town from the hill across, and the sunsets were marvellous. The owner was very friendly and extremely loquacious with good advice on what to do and where to go. What struck me the most about this establishment, and is also... more

This little B&B overlooking Piazza Armerina is a great choice. The host and hostess are extremely friendly. Between them they speak a lot of languages, and she is a guide at the nearby Villa Romana Casale (which unfortunately was closed for renovation when we were there). The hotel is outside of town, not really walking distance, but very easy to... more

Seriously the best B&B I've stayed at in Italy. Breakfast was like thanksgiving dinner. Too bad the mosaics at the nearby Roman Ruins are 3/4 under restoration until next year. more

It is always difficult to describe a place if you stay only one night. It was a great experience. I picked this one from the tripadvisor reccomendations although it had only one review. We do not regret for a moment. We stayed in the B&B of Luciano and Maria-Grazia for a sleepover on the way to the Villa Romana Casale... more
