Stayed for a week in late April, our second visit to this Hotel in 2 years. Staff always friendly and very helpful, restaurant was very busy most days, with some queuing necessary, due to the large number of guests present, no doubt because of the Flower festival. The food though was always plentiful at all times, catering for all sorts.... more

not a hotel to stay in if you like to sit out in the evenings, no mention on own website that pool/poolbar only open april-oct. rooms dark and tatty, very little choice at meals breakfast very basic, dinner soup, 1meat, 1fish, 1veg,1potato/pasta, a few sad looking salads, spongecake and mousse for afters. it is not possible to sit outside and... more

Lovely 70s feel. Hope they don`t try and modernise it. This is a period piece and should have a preservation order slapped on it. Both pools were good and very clean. If you want to be handy for the outdoor pool ask for a ground floor room in block 4 or 5. You can then literally hop over your balcony... more

We stayed for 3 nights all inclusive option. Room in block 5, quite far from reception but adequate size for 3 beds. Room cleaned daily and fresh towels. Meals were breakfast, not much choice but acceptable, lunch and dinner limited choice but suited us. Drinks with all meals and bar service from 10AM to midnight. Snacks (only ham/chees sandwich) between... more

We booked the hotel 3 days before departure, having stayed at the Dom Pedro Villamoura previously. The hotel consists of 6 blocks down a hill. Our room was in block 6 which was furthest from reception and restaurant. The room was clean and tidy and the maid service was excellent. The view over the gardens, pool and in the distance... more

This was a last minute bargain. Hotel was good average 3* and reasonably clean. Food (we only ate breakfast) was adequate, but with rather watered down juice and limited hot dishes (just two each day, e.g. hard boiled eggs and mushrooms). No croisssants or pastries. The website gives a rather mileading impression of the location. The 'lively village' is really... more

I stayed in the Dom Pedro with my partner for a week and booked it as a last minute. We had a studio with a small kitchenette. Apart from the fridge, which was handy for drinks, we never used the kitchenette. We were on a B&B and ate out at night. We were pleasently surprised about how cheap eating out... more

On arrival to the Dom Pedro we was greeted at reception and advised that the hotel consisted of 4 blocks. Our room was in the last block down the hill. Room No 1102. When booking our holiday it stated that all rooms had satalite tv, our room did not have a tv. I asked at reception and was advised that... more
