This hotel is in a lovely location but miles from anywhere, buses run into Funchal but can take nearly one hour, local restaurants and shops close very early so there is little to do in the evening and rarely any entertainment in the hotel. Splendid facilities,close to the rocky coastline. Be sure to make a trip inland,lots of lovely to see. But dont rent a car with Magos car rental!!
