stayed here for a week couldnt fault it staff exceptional food very good with plenty of choice it is about 7 miles from funchal but they run regular shuttle buses so that poses no problems and if booking excursion they usally pick you up from hotel but i would book in funchal the the tour reps can be quite expensive... more
