Exterior walkway and elevator dirty. Room smelled along with the drapes and the bedspread. Bathroom floor needed stripping. Housekeeping staff terrible; tub not cleaned. Air did not work well. Would have moved to a different hotel if they had not already deducted the money. Run, not walk to somewhere else. more

We were looking for a cheaper place to stay while we visited Virginia Beach. All we cared about was a clean bed- and somehwere to shower- and the continental breakfast since we spend most of our time at the beach. The first two nights our room was ok, but smelled like there was a gas leak somewhere. We were able... more

I recently stayed for two days on a family trip to Norfolk. I knew this was an inexpensive hotel and I was expecting problems... but I actually ended up being pleasantly surprised. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom tile was a bit dated, but everything was clean - it didn't just look clean, it smelled clean, too.... more

Very scary area!!! I woke up at about 1am due to load yelling coming from the parking lot. Looked out the window and there were about 30 poeple in the parking lot fighting, yelling, drinking, and partying. Was up all night terrified that there was going to be a drive by shooting or something!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! more

This hotel stay was a continual negative experience! The rooms were dirty and smelled of mildew. The housekeeping staff was extremely rude and used inappropriate speech around hotel customers. The hotel felt like an extremely unsafe place at night where people spit from upper floors or begged for money and cigarettes. You can't stand on the balcony outside your room... more

Stayed here to attend a Christmas dinner in the area. The price was right (49.00), but we got what we paid for. This seems to be the party hotel for either college kids or young military. The room was aged, yet clean. This was a very noisy stay with several parties going on downstairs. I think they try to keep... more

The owner of the hotel was very nice and the place was semi-clean, but that was about it. My car got broken into while I was staying there. It is in a terrible section of town. The hotel does not have cameras outside so they could not catch the thieves. They did not do anything to help except to tell... more

I stayed here with my husband because we had an early flight out of Norfolk and my uncle's house (whom we were visiting) was too far away to drive. I wish we'd sprung the extra couple bucks and taken a later flight! This hotel was disgusting. My first impression was awful... when checking in, I asked the desk clerk where... more

All I have to say is DANK DIRTY DINGY AND DID I SAY NASTY!!! The first room we went to smelled like cat urine. The second room was not clean and was dark & dingy. It was the most horrible experience. Neeedless to say if you can put forth the extra money for a nicer place so you wont feel... more
