Norfolk Virginia is Beautiful. This hotel is downtown. I had a view of a parkinglot w/beep
beep beep loaders all night. This hotel is a complete wreck. They were demolishing the parking lot. It's supposed to be historic, but there is no air conditioning, the vending machines take your money[if they work] recomended this site. This place is scary. Noone from outside of the hood was in the hotel. I felt like a person from another planet in the hotel. My room had broken doors and there was red paint or lipstick or worse all over the bathroom door. they told me if I didn't like it to leave. Michelle was afraid and wanted to go. We used wood from the closet poles to brace the door overnight. The front desk had about 5 people standing around w/nothing to do
noone would help us check out. I felt I had escaped a third world country. more
