My experience is different from other reviewers here. Overall, it is a nice experience, and I would recommend it to others. I stayed there for one night in July. I stayed in one of the log cabins/ cottages. The room is big, and nice. It was funny for a city-dweller like me. The bathroom is clean, but is small -... more
We made the reservation by telephone in English and upon arrival the staff spoke good English as well. During our stay language was never a problem. We spent two nights in a wooden house. The room was spacious and the bathroom (with slippers and bathrobe) was nice. One night we had dinner in restaurant Ulei. Menu in English, good food... more
We spent 11 nights in 9 hotels Northeast of Moscow in an area known as the Golden Ring. Our primary mode of transportation was bicycle [a van transported our things from hotel to hotel] The Pushkarskaya Sloboda is a charming hotel in an equally charming Russian town. On the grounds are a mixture of cabins and lodges. The grounds were... more
We stayed at the Puskarskaya Sloboda for 2 nights while we visited Suzdal. The hotel was fine, our room was large and clean. Front desk staff spoke good English and were helpful. The hotel site is pretty and well located, we walked 5 minutes into town for dinner one night. The hotel had several eccentricites, no soap. They had shower... more

We were unable to make an online booking at any of the area hotels so we headed out from Moscow intending to take our chances. As a precaution we packed our own towels, sheets and... more
We stayed in the log chain and the room is quite large. However the service is quite bad and they even charge you for a single map! Avoid the restaurant that in the hotel area, it is so expensive and tasted awful! One good thing is their breakfast is fantastic, with unlimited supply of pancake! (I am a pancake lover)... more
We spent a night in this hotel in September 2008, paying Rubles 2700 for a standard double room in the main building. We called them directly and they did not require credit card details for the reservation. The hotel exceeded our expectations mainly in the area of service (not a big feature in Russian hotels as I'm sure most of... more
We spent 3 nights at the Pushkarskaya Sloboda Hotel in May 2008. We found it to be a very clean, comfortable, well appointed hotel which we could recommend to anyone. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room overlooked the main onion domed church in the small Suzdal Kremlin which is a very short walk from the hotel. We... more
