The rooms next to the pool reminded me of a youth hostel - old furniture, squeaking bed, old tiles and well worn shower curtain in the bathroom. Much better to go for the new side of the hotel. after staying in marbella for a week decided to stay a few nights in the sleepy peaceful village of mijas, hotel mijas being a rather hasty choice. from the outside it looks a pleasant enough hotel and due to its central location seemed a logical choice. the hotel i would say is a average 3 star and no more where... more

just returned and if you want great views, peace and quiet then go but be warned the food is not good especially the dinner which is boring, bland and uninteresting. the bedrooms are ok and communal areas very spanish - which is great. Sun beds very poor condition and could give you a bad back. more

Loved the hotel - quiet, clean and in a nice village away from the main touristy town of Fuengirola, but handy to get to if need be. Village is fairly peaceful and quiet with nice walks and small attractions to explore. Nice getaway. more

have just returned after weeks stay, room fine, fab views from room and brilliant bar. reception staff are still as miserable as last time, though we spoke spanish with them. they have their own underground carpark, but still charge exorbitantly. finally the food. appalling is putting it mildly,breakfasts are gross. great pity, cos the location is wonderful. half the pool... more

Love Mijas been there 4 times First time I have stayed in this hotel though. The hotel is in a great position for views, easy short walk access up to the village.
