The food was not good at all and was on a loop with the same things repeated each day. Although we were all inclusive we went out several nights. Other people said the same thing. Rooms were dated but adequate. The pool was amazing, huge with plenty of sunbeds always available. The main reason we would never return was the fact that it is next to a nature reserve, meaning we were covered in mosquito bites which kept us scratching all night. I still have a couple of scars!

Response from Exagon Park, Otros at Exagon Park
Responded 13 Dec 2023
Dear JennyfS3040PH Thank you very much for your personal feedback. Due to our beautiful large garden location directly on the sea but also on the neighbouring nature reserve, mosquitoes sometimes occur depending on the season, we regret that this has caused you inconvenience, but we have no influence on this, even if we naturally try to keep them under control as best we can. We also regret that we could not completely meet your taste with our rich buffet, but we are all the more pleased that you liked our well-kept garden and hopefully also the service of our friendly staff and the proximity to the beach. Greetings from Mallorca Exagon Park Hotel Team

My husband and I have just got back from a week at the Exagon Park Hotel and had a wonderful week. Set amongst palm trees and evergreens 10 mins walk to the beach on the edge of nature reserve and a residential area, the hotel was in a quiet setting and the pool area was surrounded by a large grassed area with loungers a plenty. Guests were predominantly British, Irish, Dutch and German. The staff were pleasant hardworking and the entertainment team informative, funny and respectful if you didn't want to join in the activities. Both lads worked well together and obviously loved their jobs. I was worried when I saw a review about them being pushy and rude but it certainly wasn't our experience. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable but we were only given 1 pillow each and they were very hard. We asked for extra, as did many other guests so i'm not sure why they dont just have 2 each in the first place? There is a lack of sockets but as a couple we managed fine. The decor is not modern but this did not bother us at all. We were on a half board basis which I was glad that we weren't AI as there wasn't the choice I've experienced on previous holidays, the most annoying part was unless you were lucky to time your food for when it came out, most of dishes were cold. The overhead/hot plates are woefully inadequate which was a dissapointment. We ate daily breakfast but only ate dinner in the resturant twice. There wasn't the choice you'd expect from a 4* and no flare in the presentation so it felt more like 3* but it was well cooked and no one would starve. I did note there wasn't any proper allergy labelling on any of the food so take this into account. The bar area is spacious and comfortable with nightly hour long entertainment of a lounge act of singers. All were very good. There is a full stage outside for the height of the season. The hotel bar prices were very reasonable €3.50 for a pint or glass of wine and waiter service. The bus stop is a 10 min walk from the hotel with a regular 20 min service very easy to travel to the neighbouring Alcudia and the whole island. We rarely saw the Ting Ting land train in use but it does have a stop immediately opposite the hotel gates but the hotel has a private walk way directly to the beach on the edge of a fresh water river and nature reserve which was a nice walk. A further 15/20 mins along the promenade takes you to Can Picafort where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to eat and drink at and are very reasonably priced. I have chronic back pain and sciatica but managed this walk daily (and further as its so pretty) as its ptactically on the flat and well paved. We booked the Son Amar show which was excellent but factor in the 2 hour coach trip there and back due to other pick ups so we didn't get back to the hotel until 2am. All in all we really enjoyed our stay it was very relaxing, music choices for the outside bar and pool area were perfect, the daily 'animation' choices were low key and unintrusive, so was perfect for a chilled week. Just 2 things may stop me returning, the uncomfortable pillows and cold food, if these were sorted it would have been a perfect week. That said I would recommend this gem of a hotel in a lovely setting on the doorstep of a lively resort on a beautiful island.

Dated and terrible food! If you’re Dutch and German it’s a safe haven of people who look the same and the food catered to your taste! As vegetarians we really struggled, daytime reception staff were extremely rude! Lobby was beautiful and dining area was like visiting your granny in a residential home! Dated linen and god awful curtains. Bedrooms are the same, limescale filled shower taps and basin taps! Awful woodwork, nice size balcony but not in anyway a 4* hotel. I was so happy to check out after 4 days!! Would not recommend!

Hello KyokoMilli we are sorry to read that we could not meet your personal requirements, despite our efforts to make our guests happy at all times. our team attaches great importance to satisfying all your needs, as well as to our hospitality and our extensive buffet. it is a pity that we could not meet your personal preferences. Our much praised location, directly on the beach, which offers a lot of peace and quiet as well as the beautiful large garden could not score enough points with you, we regret that you did not appreciate it as much as the other guests. Nevertheless, we will take your suggestions into consideration and send you our best regards. EXAGON PARK Hotel Team

exceptional value. Booked this as a budget deal so expectations were modest and previous reviews mixed. detractors there will always be but we have stayed in many hotels worldwide and this one was a real surprise. Room very clean and functional and decent balcony - no sign anywhere of being dated as others have said, Public areas immaculate and regularly cleaned - facilities and layout excellent- pool area is very good and a decent bar and loads of shade large pool and many loungers. Food - breakfast superb choice re stocked constantly and very good quality for a large operation as good a breakfast buffet as you could expect. Evening meals some have commented are repetitive and some of it is but when there is a massive choice how do you vary it - grilled prawns one night, tuna steaks veal , lovely lamb carved in front of you even rabbit one night you would be hard pressed not to find something and it is very palatable - for variety we did eat out a couple of times locally but that was our choice and what we do but for a budget half board hotel it was exceptionally good. Special mention for one of the head waiters -Andreas I think - never seen anyone work that hard constantly 11/10 to him they are lucky to have him - no task seems beneath him and he races around ensuring everyone is attended to. All staff were well turned out helpful cheerful and always acknowledged you - no exceptions they were super. great location near beach and near the bus stop - end of the line so you cant miss the stop and you always get a seat at the start of the route - area is a very pleasant residential area.- highly recommend

This is a large, well appointed hotel with indoor and outdoor pools. The grounds are a particular highlight as the pool is surrounded not only by the usual paved area, but also by large areas of greensward with many shady trees. This along with substantial numbers of Sun loungers avoids any potential scramble for parasols and sun beds in the heat of the day. The downside is the food. The usual breakfast buffet is spoiled by the cooked food being lukewarm at best and cold at worst, I have no idea why they don’t fit decent food heaters over the counters. We made the mistake of eating in one evening - just don’t! The selection provided was more than a little reminiscent of bad school dinners and the restaurant’s blazing overhead lighting certainly wouldn’t be conducive to lingering over dinner had the food been more edible. My advice would be take the short walk to the beach road - the food at nearby restaurant Sa Cova was vastly superior to that provided at the hotel and rather cheaper too. We were supposed to have booked half board, frankly I am delighted that the booking was only for B&B, I just feel sorry for those booked All Inclusive.

Unfortunately we were not able to score with our extensive and otherwise so praised buffet, which we regret very much; of course we take all comments to heart, only in this way we can improve ourselves, nevertheless it is a pity that we unfortunately could not meet your personal taste. A couple of recent reviews have said they cannot understand the negatives some people point out - I'd echo that. My wife and I came back yesterday from a 5 day stay & absolutely loved the place. Photos online do not do justice to the hotel & surroundings - if you have a pool view room, there is no evidence of there even being a town nearby - just a huge expanse of forest leading to the distant mountains. 5 minutes walk takes you down to a lovely beach with some bars & restaurants, another 15 minute walk along the seafront to Ca'n Picafort itself - we'll do the longer walk next time, as the bars etc 5 minutes from the hotel are well worth the visit. Some have criticised there only being one power point in the (yes, slightly dated, but immaculate & spotlessly clean) rooms - here's a tip - unplug the TV & there's another one for you LOL. You cannot criticise the food at all - this is primarily an all-inclusive hotel, so you get effectively mass-catering buffet style meals - all of which are perfectly good; not haute cuisine true, but you're not paying haute cuisine prices - never had any issue with any of the food at all - a good selection & well made. Finding a table can take a little while, but as soon as you see one, the staff immediately set it up for you & get you drinks straight away. A hint about the food as well - in the beach bar, the food is not included in all inclusive (the restaurant's open at lunchtime anyway), but their food is excellent & not overpriced. A few people have mentioned the staff too - without exception they are friendly, attentive and bloody hard working - a credit to the hotel. Yes, the 2 guys round the pool can be fairly assertive, but we didn't experience any of the sarcasm reported by others... Overall - a definite 5 star review and we will be back - definitely

I am amazed at some of the poor reviews as we had the most amazing 9 day stay at Hotel Exagon Park and could not find fault with anything. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean as was the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food and drink were of a high quality as well as plentiful. There was never a shortage of sun loungers and the amount of space to relax was vast. The evening entertainment was also good

Very nice clean and comfortable hotel, very good pool area with plenty of sunbeds both in sun or in shade. Only two criticisms, we stayed for 10 nights and during that time the bed linen was not changed. The meal time table seating was a bit chaotic, and we stayed after the peak school holiday period so is possibly worse during the peak period.

We stayed at this hotel in September 2023 and overall had a lovely stay. If you are looking for a holiday where you can totally chill then it’s a great resort! There are a few lovely bars and restaurants around the hotel but if you are looking for a more lively scene the main ‘strip’ is about a half an hour walk, this wasn’t a problem for us though. There is a train the goes around the whole town so it is very easy to get about if you don’t want to walk. The hotel has a path directly down to the beach which is lovely! Overall there is very little that we can fault with the hotel. It had a lovely chill vibe but there was entertainment at night. We were half board and the food was great! I’m gluten free and they were very accommodating. There were lots of options each night and at breakfast, and everything was labelled. I asked for bread each morning and on the one day they had run out they brought me muffins and cereal without me asking to apologise. The drinks and pool bar food were very reasonably priced and very nice as-well. The pool area was lovely and there were always lots of sun-loungers- no need to race down in the morning. There are only a few things that we think could be changed. Our room was a little dated and only had one socket which was a bit of a pain. However it was very clean and totally fit for purpose other than the sockets. Other parts of the hotel did look like they had been updated recently and were much more modern. When it came to meal times it would be beneficial if there was a member of staff sitting guests to their tables. Guests are just left to find their own table which wasn’t an issue until it came to peak times where it became a scramble for tables and trying to work out which tables were available. Our biggest issue and only real complaint about the hotel was the hotel reps! There were two male reps who would walk round the pool 2 or 3 times a day to gather people for activities however they were quite frankly the rudest reps we have ever encountered. If you don’t want to do any activities then be prepared for the harassment that follows. From repeatedly being called lazy and boring to daily sarcastic comments. We are unsure if everyone was faced with this attitude but we certainly weren’t the only guests who wanted to relax and were in fact in the majority. It’s such a shame as the hotel had such a great relaxing vibe and this really ruined it. We don’t want to mark the hotel down for it but we have never experienced something like that. Overall the hotel had a great chill vibe and was a fab location. The perfect resort for a relaxing getaway. But our advice to the hotel would be get some new reps!!

Spent 6 days here mid September. There are pros and cons! Pros- the pool - huge, clean, cool, and never a fight for sunloungers, big plus in my book! No smoking by the pool, fantastic idea, you’re not shrouded in other peoples cigarette smoke. The smoking area is the other side of the pool bar so hardly a million miles away!! Staff- they work incredibly hard under what looks like quite trying circumstances! The hotel was super busy and they are permanently under pressure to clear tables, seat people, take drinks orders, etc. Reception lovely and friendly if you get one of the guys. Pool bar - fab Pina Colada cocktails (we didn’t go all inclusive) so it feels we had better somehow, poolside food offering started fab and got progressively worse, cold chips and inedible toasties on the last day but it started off brilliant. Food - hmmm. Bland, samey, not much variety, that’s when you’d battled to find a vacant table. We ate out despite being Half Board by the middle of our stay. Location- good, 6-8 min walk to Can Picanfort with lots of nice places to eat. Tourist train stops outside the hotel so that’s super convenient. Rooms - dated, very dated. Clean. Shower was a boiling/freezing trickle. Pool towels - one per person for 5 days - not nice Take a hair dryer!! The one in the bathroom couldn’t dry and eyelash! Would we go again, no, there are much nicer places to stay but it was OK on the whole
