Just arrived back with spouse and other couple from a weeks stay at this hotel. Very clean throughout, beautiful sea view. What lets this hotel down is the dining area and food. this is a fairly typical no frills 3 star Hotel which pretty much lives up to its ratings . the decor of the public rooms is clean and fresh although a little to stark for my own personal taste(a lot of marble with nothing much to break it up). we have just arrived home from a weeks stay at the consul, the room was very spacious and clean, comfortable beds, and a view overlooking the marina. the food is average, but allways plenty to choose from, salads etc, if you want a fridge, you have to hire one, and no tea making facilities, but apart from that i cannot... more

I really liked the location of the hotel in Cala Bona, the room I stayed in was over-looking the sea-front, with a MAGNIFICENT view even though we book in the may!! We have just come back from a 7 day stay, at what we consider the best 3 star we have ever stayed in. Clean, Roomy, Friendly, Superb Facilities, Considerate Helpful Staff and the food was out of this world. more

Just had 2 weeks at the consul, if you get a room at the front the views are excellent. The rooms are a good size, and maid service daily, towels changed daily , but the floors didnt seem to be cleaned daily.The food was good, but the choice was limited compared to other hotels we have stayed, especially the deserts.... more
