We came back 3 days ago from Maricel. We wish we were still there. The hotel is pure magic, everywhere is perfect, from the the moment you arrive and see in the distance this elegant villa, that looks as it came out from a movie, until the moment you walk in and you see modern meeting antique in a perfect... more

My husband and I have just returned for the Maricel. We had a fabulous break. The hotel is just lovely, the building is elegant and grand. The location is perfect, its nestled into a lovely little bay with crystal clear blue water and the infinity pool is again aesthetically pleasing. The hotel is very focused on relaxation, luxury and an... more

Overall loved this hotel. Building was beautiful, location was close to where we wanted to be and the views were lovely. Pool area was great, very peaceful, no children, staff were brilliant and the food was always delicious. We stayed in a double room with terrace, slightly surprised the terrace was shared with another 3 rooms but this was not... more

This hotel doesn't only deserve to rated as one of the best in the Med, it should be rated one of the best in the world! My wife and I have just come back from 3 nights there and it felt like a two week break at least. They have got everything SO right. The rooms (get a terrace, it's... more

Great hotel, I've stayed here several times and its got a lot better. Was really badly run in the early days when you could not eat a sandwich on the comfy seats and were banished to the far corners to eat as a pariah. Fine, but as we were about the only people staying there at the time it was absurd.... more

Recently back from a stay here with my girlfriend. We flew in from London for a 4 day / 3 night stay and throughly enjoyed ourselves. Ok so we splashed out and stayed Room 11 with the enormous private balcony but it was worth it! (Room 11 has a bedroom, lounge area and a private balcony that can be used... more

Fabulous "Design" hotel in a magical setting. The rooms are spacious - beds large and fabulous with a "Pillow menu!" - Slept very well (and usually don't in strange bed), the bathrooms are luxurious with lots of nice goodies - lotions and potions etc. The food is fancy with lots of fish and good wine list. The breakfast is amazing... more

We stayed at Hospes Maricel for a week in August and absolutely loved it. The best thing about the hotel is the pool area - fabulous infinity pool overlooking the sea and lovely views. The poolside bar staff couldn't be more helpful - friendly (but not so much they drive you mad) and efficient. We ate lunch by the pool... more

WOW! Stayed in a suite at the Maricel 5-10 June 2006 and we loved every single moment of our stay. Maricel is a beautiful hotel situated with a breathtaking view just by the ocean. The neighbourhood is not so nice, and it’s a bit outside Palma (10 minutes by car), but, hey, this is a palace and if you choose... more

Our car hasn´t even stopped in front of the hotel and already the reception staff are out to welcome us and help us with heavy bags. Entering the cool, calm lobby of this beautiful hotel we are offered a glass of Cava on the veranda overlooking azur blue sea and clear skies. Plush, white sofas and mounds of pillows support... more
