We just had a fabulous long weekend in Deia staying at the Villa Verde. The hotel is spread out down the hillside on several levels in the middle of beautiful Deia. We had room 21- spotlessly clean, high ceilings, very pretty . The highlight of the room was its own private little terrace- this was So cute- a sort of semi circular, cosy little hideaway, really secluded and a perfect place to sit and read and enjoy the view across the valley. The only one fault was that it faced the road so you do see some traffic and hear some road noise- but- we live in a really quiet place so are Extremely sensitive to this- and it all was totally gorgeous despite the road.
A simple , but perfectly fine ,breakfast (bread, jam, coffee, juice and little cakes) is included in the price and served on one of the upper terraces under lovely shady trees.
It is worth pointing out that access to a lot of the rooms does involve a lot of walking up and down steep steps- 50 to our room! Deia itself is... more
