My partner and I stayed at La Residencia for one night during our recent holiday in Mallorca - I only wish we could have stayed more. We were in one of the new Tramuntana Suites with a plunge pool. The room was beautiful, the bathroom very spacious, great terrace and the views towards Deia were just amazing. We particularly loved... more

Quite simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Set in a beautiful location, the hotel is absolutely beautiful from first impressions, and even better once in the room. Incredibly spacious and extremely well designed! Hotel facilities are excellent, the staff and service is superb, and the hotel dining at El Olivo restaurant is one of the best meals... more

We can confirm all the other reviews for a superb, quality hotel in every respect. Our return visit did not disappoint, in fact we were welcomed as friends and had an upgraded room no. 36. Large, with a lounge area, and private terrace, with the quality fittings and service that you almost take for granted. They like to take care... more

I just returned from an INCREDIBLE visit to La Residencia. It was my first trip to Mallorca. Friends, knowing that I am a fan of luxury hotels, suggested that I stay at La Residencia and or St. Regis Madvall. I ended up staying at both. My only regret...I didn't just stay at La Residencia. I do not have enough superlatives... more

We stayed at La Residencia for the first time in December 2007. We were both taken aback by this beautifully converted old farmhouse, set in a sleepy village. We were greeted with a glass of delicious champagne when we arrived and being December the fires were lit and there were Christmas trees all around. Our room, No.23 in the main... more

Its always easy to write negative comments abouts stays at Hotels.-I note there are some here. However;I have stayed in this hotel around 25 times over the past 14 years and I can recommend it to anyone who likes to take some time out, not be overdressed, eat well, drink well and enjoy the company of others if you wish and spa... more

This was our third visit to the hotel. I fail to see how anyone can write a negative review about it (but then some people wouldn't be happy unless they could find things to criticise in Paradise). From the moment you arrive and are greeted with a glass of bubbly in front of a crackling log fire, you feel pampered... more

We’ve been visiting La Residencia for many years now. I have never, ever been disappointed. We started with a standard room and as our resources have allowed, upgraded through the years to finally enjoy the Luxury Suites. We always find the staff polite, welcoming and capable. The whole ambience of La Residencia is in keeping with the village, it is... more

As you drive to Deia, and the village first comes into view, the first thing that will strike you is what appears to be a gleaming new jam-factory, set in the hills behind the Residencia. This is their newly-built block of suites, the construction of which entailed the destruction of thousand-year-old olive groves and terraces. No-one in the village can... more

In Reply to the comments and photograph sent by godfather concerning the new rooms at La Residencia we would like to point out that landscaping work has still to be carried out this winter. The olive trees mentioned are all intact. A number have been replanted along our front driveway. Replanting is by a professional company. Works carried out by...

Apart from losing our way and taking a record breaking 2 hours to find hotel at night ( should be 30 minutes) the holiday was brilliant. The hotel is smart but not stuffy, the rooms are wonderful and the pool are areas are first class. The spa is one of the best in Europe and the staff there and throughout... more
