If you are English be prepared to be stared at 24/7!!! Me and my boyfriend have just got back from spending a week here and we have never felt so uncomfortable. Everytime we’d go for food,go down to the pool, walk around outside the hotel, sit on our balcony we had eyes on us , people pointing and laughing at us.the sad part is they didn’t even try an hide it either they would make it so obvious, walking into us was another thing. Which made us feel so unwelcome. Apart from this …. The room was amazing ,we had an apartment and the A/C was amazing especially if you leave it on all the time! (Can get abit too cold though! Not a bad thing ) Sofa/bed was comfy, bathroom was clean , shower and hairdryer were powerful. The food was decent , always had pizza/burger/chips/chicken 24/7 and they always had pancakes&fry ups for breakfast and always had food on the go,especially the pool bar with a lot of food outside of buffet hours. Loved how close it is to the beach , you can go left or right and end up on the sunny dreamy beach! There’s also a bike shop right outside the front on the hotel where you can hire bikes/scooters , there are alot of ‘spar’ shops too - there must be 3 on each street! So very close if you need to pop to the shops for anything. If you are like us and wanting a tattoo avoid the tattoo shop that’s next door to this bike shop outside the entrance to the hotel as they will rip you off for a tiny tattoo and then charge you more for shading and colour! Even if it’s one tiny stroke you want in colour!! Two very tiny tattoos I had ended up going from €60 for both ( which I thought was okay as we are in Spain) but then changed to €100, then after they had finished it ended being €125 for both , they will probably tell you “if you come back tomorrow it’ll be more expensive because we have to use different needles” which I can’t help but laugh at now!! But as we were very easy to manipulate money from as we are people pleasers we of course ended up paying €125 for 2 tiny tattoos on each so it was €125 x2 , please avoid going there!! Also tattoo artist is off his head! There is a lovely restaurant on the beachfront next to the spar called Restaurante Pizzeria Sa Coma and their food is amazing!! The garlic bread , chicken croquettes and pizzas are to die for!! Amazing friendly staff too!! So if you don’t mind being stared at and robbed of your money then please enjoy! And I really do hope your experience is much better than ours!

Just returned from Hotel Paila, Sa Coma Palya. The location is excellent, right on the beach and all the amenitites on the doorstep. We had a seaview apartment which was really nice, modern setup, very good A/C. The restaurant felt more 3 star than 4 star. No tablecloths for dinner, no wine served at the table, no wine glasses, nothing ever on the menu for children, not even any jams for breakfast. Show cooking at breakfast meant fried eggs, which they could have just put out and cooked omelettes maybe ? The overall food quality was 3 star, never any carved meats etc. The trim on the tables was falling apart.

Stayed at this hotel with my husband in August. Asked for low level room and was given this on arrival 1 floor up and beach and pool facing. Food There was always something we could eat, and it was constantly being replenished. Some days, the restaurant was busier than others. Staff were friendly Accommodation The room was lovely and was cleaned on a daily basis. The shower is always hot. The shower did leak out onto the bathroom floor , my only gripe in case of falls. Location Right at the seafront and lively beaches to your left and right . Plenty of shops around hotel also. The staff were very friendly. Animation team worked really hard, I didn't do any activities, but that was my choice. There were not a lot of British here, mostly Germans and French with some Spanish. They were all polite. There were plenty of sunloungers to go around as no one put towels out early, and you could get a sunbed anytime of day. There is also a part for adults only with beds and parasols which I did use on occasion. Only down sides. They could upgrade the outside bar , this was a bit grubby and plenty of wasps to go around. At night on some occasions, there was only one bar staff working . They only opened bar inside if it was raining. Every drink in small plastic cups. No towels to hire for sunbeds Not enough drink machines around hotel for the amount of people. I would say this is a 3 star and not 4.

Hardly ate anything as there is no air con in the restaurant so smells as if your in the kitchen itself, my husband was shouted at by the lady cooking at the snack area for placing an empty cup. On what was supposed to be our last full day and wanted a lie in was woken by the maintenance man with a Strimmer at 8.10am straight outside our balcony door as we are on the ground floor. We are up early at home to be met with the sound of heavy duty lawn mower right outside your balcony is not on. I have been pointed at an laughed at my another maintenance man which he has since apologised as it made me cry at the time after also shouting at me in Spanish and throwing towels at my feet earlier that morning, the guy who was outside making all the noise was with him and point blank lied about being with him when I complained. We are now utterly shattered on what should be a relaxing holiday. I wouldn't recommend this hotel especially if you are British, I think I have seen 1 other British family on our stay and from speaking to them they have felt the same way. Staff rude, apart from the occasional odd ones Lovely man on reception, lovely young waitress and maybe that's it. My original post was taken now on there site. Again they have both just laughed at us AGAIN together saying things to the other in Spanish don't worry tommorow they go Ciao Palia and laughed...I understand enough Spanish to know that. I have just been to speak to the very same manager who said lady you people do not help the situation here and waved in my face and then added Ciao!!!! I was so disrespected. WHAT DOES HE MEAN BY THAT? The is no respect. We have been insulted, laughed at, told off, woken up and now the chief person at the hotel has waved in my face a said good you go tommorow. DO NOT COME HERE!! As British you are treated awfully. Wouldn't mind but I don't drink so isn't as though we are rowdy. My son was also subject to being laughed at and he has anxiety he was with me at the time.

We had a really good experience, my family was really happy because we had everything near, the beach, a lot of different shops and restaurants but we didn’t need to go to restaurants because the food of the hotel was so good, we could eat a lot of variety all day. The animation was really busy always, we could play all day, my kids could go to miniclub and have a nice time and meet other friends. We played voleyball, aquagym, football, they even had riffle shooting and archery! My favorite moment of the morning! The staff also was really nice to everyone, very kind and attentive to us. If I have to choose an hotel to go with my family again It would be Palia Sa Coma Playa.

Our holiday exceeded all of our expectations. The island held a host of treasures that impressed us with their beauty and historical value. The multiple beaches were wonderful, starting with the beach of fine white sand, crystal clear water and gentle seabed slope in front of the hotel. But our visit would not have been the success it was without the extraordinary welcome received at the Palia Sa Coma. The entire staff was friendly, attentive and very very professional. Clearly their only concern was our comfort and pleasure. The General Manager, Pau Andreu, has instilled in his team a devotion to guest well-being at all times. Mr. Andreu was always available and always attentive to the smooth operation of his resort. From the entertainer (and multi-lingual exercise motivator!) Franky, to our house maid Isabelle (who kept our room pristine at all times), there was always a smile and a dedication to our enjoyment making is feel totally at home and cared for. It also helped that the food was incredibly varied, abundant and delicious, for all possible tastes. The Palia Sa Coma is extremely well run by a hard-working happy staff who made our stay in Mallorca the success it was. I cannot recommend more.

We have just returned from 1 week stay at the hotel. We had a two bedroom apartment to sleep 3 adults and 2 children. Room - spacious, clean, great aircon, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, living area, queen size beds in bedrooms and sofa bed in living room, balcony and large bathroom. Cleaned daily and no issues with facilities. Food - huge selection for breakfast lunch and dinner in restaurant. Hard working staff with tables cleared very quickly. Snack bar open all day with a great selection of food if you wanted something quick to eat by the pool. Food replenished quickly and our family had no complaints. Entertainment team worked very hard and we enjoyed some of the activities and evening shows. Location was great for us as a family. Close to shops and restaurants and a short stroll to the lovely beach. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and worked very hard to ensure we had a great stay. We will certainly return to the hotel Thank you for a great stay x

What a great location this hotel is to the beach! I attended with friends and loved the location to the beach. The entertainment staff were great, the maids were friendly and hardworking, the reception staff and waiting on staff were lovely. Food in the restaurant was great for myself, who is a meat eater however there was not a wide selection for a person who is vegetarian. Coming from England we now have a huge amount of people who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. Two issues I had with the restaurant, there was a issue with translation on one of the soups. It stated it was chickpea but it was actually chicken. Also the chicken from the freshly cooked grill was not always cooked fully and could cause someone severe food poisoning. Breakfast was fab and the coffee was beautiful. I honestly think the prices of the promotion rooms should be lowered.. They are shocking quality compared to the other rooms our party had and when you are paying the same price for a holiday I do not believe you should be getting two different standards of rooms. Also to have a double bed in a room and not a twin is very confusing. I've not ever stayed in a hotel room for two people that has a double bed in. It's always been a twin. Our party was a selection of people, girls holiday. Not everyone knew everyone so sharing a bed could be awkward. I think the quality of the hotel for what I paid was fabulous however I was placed in one of the nicer rooms. I would of been disappointed with the "promotional" room. Improvements that could be made.. Have separate pool toilets nearer the pool. Update the toilets in the entertainment area. Don't rave about the promotional rooms, lower the prices for these, they are lower standard and thats fine if thats what you choose. This would mean people get what they pay for. Widen the range of vegetarian food and have better food labels. Make sure all food is cooked fully. Finally offer an upgrade to all inclusive plus where you can have branded spirits. I select many of my holidays on this and would happily come here again if I had that option. Sorry not many photos of the actual hotel was far to busy having a laugh. Honestly a great place for a holiday, but be cautious when they are raving about the promotional rooms as they are not what it says on the tin and if you are happy with local spirits and lager it's definitely worth it!
