I was in Norton, Va. for a funeral and my extended family decided to stay at the Inn at Norton. The problems began from the moment of check-in. We received our room keys, only to find that my room had not been cleaned and was full of empty beer bottles. My father’s room was still occupied and still had someone’s... more

This was our second visit to this property, the first being under the Holiday Inn flag. It's perfectly understandable as to why the Holiday Inn franchise was lost. There was a massive amount of delayed maintenance evident everywhere we looked from the carpeting to the bathroom fixtures. Hot water was spotty, but the air conditioned worked, which was a blessing... more

I have stayed many many times at the hotel before and I have had some bad and some pleasant experiences. I had to come into town for work and we have to stay at this hotel. This time they were very busy due to a reunion, and the girl at the Front Desk was very patient, and as country as... more

Just spent the last weekend at Inn at Norton and it was fine - and I'm picky. Took my mother to VA for her class reunion, so I had plenty of time to check out the Inn. It wasn't perfect but the room was clean with plenty of towels, the air worked perfectly and the water pressure in the shower... more

I have stayed at this hotel for a number of years and each year it keeps getting worse. I wasn't surprised that Holiday Inn pulled their flag from this dump. It is poorly layed out to start with and there is nothing good to say about my recent experience. I have hosted a couple of social events in the banquet... more

Clean, quiet, and convenient. We were not going to stay here because of all the bad reviews but glad we did. It's not as bad as the Super 8. The rooms are on the larger size and very clean unless you get a smoking room. If you eat in house do expect to wait but the food is good. They... more

We stopped to see if this motel had an indoor pool,as the few surrounding hotels had maintence, etc. problems with their pools. I was excited to hear that it had an indoor pool leading to outdoors,a hot tub, fitness center, restaurant, bar, etc. The lobby was beautiful. But, as we got in our room,i noticed this room was clean, but was older. It had some things replaced. We found a... more

As part of a group of 4 staying in the area for business, none of us had a positive experience at The Inn at Norton. Linda at the front desk took 30 minutes per person to check us in. For the 4 of us, that was 2 hours! Meanwhile, a line had formed behind us of others waiting to check... more

Another night at The Inn at Norton. Best Western (3 miles) full again. Hotel was dark, parking lot poorly lit. Very few cars. Sara, at the dek was the brightpart of my stay. After asking several people if the could Map someplace for me, Sara took care of me on the first request. Rooms need attention, not too clean. New... more

This place leaves a lot to be desired. We stayed here the last night on a 6 day motorcycle trip and can assure you next time we will make plans to stay somewhere else. If you are in this area look elsewhere. The "Prime Rib" buffet looked like it had been out for 2 weeks. The "Hot Tub" was about... more
