The Hotel Playa Sol was a superb value, with clean (though dated) rooms, but fabulous location, pool, views, and balconies. I absolutely recommend springing for the waterfront balcony room, because the rooms themselves are not overly impressive but the balcony with a view is lovely for relaxing with a drink at the end of the day. We spent 2 nights here and could have easily stayed longer. Our room was comfortable with a large balcony and sea view. It was excellent value for money. A great breakfast. The only slight downside was that the soundproofing between rooms is not great but it never kept us awake at night. We plan to return here. more
