Stayed here for 1 week in June 2023. Positives: - food was great Negatives- - entertainment wasn’t great - the snacks for all inclusive during the day were shocking, few sweets in a small dish. - drinks were absolutely atrocious, cocktails were pre mixed from a machine. Barely any alcohol in. - we complained during our initial stay twice, however the hotel didn’t record these complaints therefore when I complained to jet2 upon my return, they advised there was no record of these complaints which meant they would not proceed with our complaint as the first point of call should have been to the hotel (which is was!) Overall I would not recommend staying here!

Had a lovely stay at this hotel staff are a credit to you helpful and hard working , rooms are modern and very clean the only issue was the food not a lot of choice . The outside area was lovely could always get a sun bed and hotel is in a good area close to main bars and restaurants would come back to this area .

We understand your frustration at arriving early at the hotel and having to wait for 3 hours for your room. Our official check-in time is from 14:00 onwards, but we make every effort to provide rooms earlier if they are available or have been vacated by previous guests. However, during the summer season when occupancy is high and demand is considerable, room cleaning may take longer than expected. In your case, it's possible that the room assigned to you was occupied until 11:00 due to the previous guests adhering to the check-out time. Unfortunately, in that specific situation, we couldn't offer you an early check-in. We appreciate your understanding that this situation is beyond our control, and the choice to take an early flight is a personal decision. During the peak season, we manage arrivals to the best of our ability and work to provide rooms as quickly as possible. Stayed here for 1 week end of August 2023- been home a day. Have to say was not impressed with my stay at all. Most probably best to bullet point why as follows: Positives Air con in the bedrooms Mini fridge in the bedroom to store own drinks Room was clean Cleaners came regularly Breakfast was nice- variety of pastries, full English, fruit, tea, juice etc. the dessert at dinner was nice. Negatives • On my third day I was informed by a member of staff and saw on arrival 90 students check in- some of these students were staying in the room next to mine. On the third night they played music full volume from the TV which was on the wall on my side at 11pm at night- I complained and the staff member informed me there had been other complaints already. The students then left at midnight and came back at 3 or 4am banging doors, knocking on other students doors, laughing, being genuinely loud with no consideration for anybody else. This happened again on the three other nights throughout my stay each time I complained and was informed teachers had been told and were dealing with it- this did not happen. At one point I was banging on the walls at 4am as they were clearly taking the piss. I asked to move rooms the day before I came home so I could at least get one decent night sleep due to an early flight and was told the hotel was full. Another member of staff with whom I complained to at 11.45pm told me he did not understand it and had noticed them all coming back drunk at 4am and agreed feeling that security should have been on sight with there being so many. It felt like a child’s playground. • The lifts took forever and when your on a higher floor you could be waiting a while to be able to get a lift to come up or a lift would come up that is full • the food in the evening was bland and not very child friendly for families with children who had a choice of cold chips or burnt sausages the majority of my stay. The bread at times was stale. I had chicken one night which when I sliced into was pink on the inside. The rice was cold, a lot of fish options which is good if you like fish which not all people do. • if you pay half board which I did you are given only tap water with your evening meal whereas the all inclusive members are given bottled water- the tap water came in jugs and was warm the majority of the time. I was informed when I asked for the water the all inclusive guests got that I can’t have it as it tastes different- I found this basic. Basic treatment for people who pay half board an expect to get at least a decent cold glass of water with their evening meal if not entitled to any other drinks like the all inclusive members. • you now get charged a tourist tax on arrival which I’ve never known before coming to this hotel • the entertainment was poor in the evening- it included 25 mins of the same nursery songs sang every evening for a lot of children who were over the age of 7- one night they played a game after this where people could run on stage if they knew the theme song played and my son ran on who was 10 as they had played Harry Potter and was asked his age infront of the audience to then be told you had to be 12 to play and told to get off the stage- this led to my son feeling humiliated embarrassed and in tears as he isn’t usually that confident to do that to then be told to get off- very poor Also, the bingo prizes were crap- surely could of pushed to a bottle of wine or a bit of money rather then a colouring book and a bar of chocolate • there is no day time entertainment that I had seen around the pool • no umbrella around the pool areas so you have to purchase your own and if you want to take home you get a 5 euro charge at the airport • the beds were very uncomfortable to sleep in • one night I asked a chef if he had any chocolate cake for my son as he had put some out and it had gone within minutes- he said he would check if there was any left and never came back- I waited a good 15 minutes • also on the first night I had a meal, when I got up to to get dessert and left the table unattended the waiter had reset it and two new people were sat at it- told him I hadn’t finished and then struggled to place me anywhere else due to the restaurant being full and people queuing outside to get in. Overall, a very poor experience had. Will not be returning which is a shame but sometimes I feel you have to put your customers first rather then consistently thinking about how much money can be made by flocking in dozens of students who completely ruined my holiday.

Hotel is nice, clean staff are nice and helpful. Beds are comfy and rooms aren't too cramped for family of 4. Fridge in our room which is handy for water. Food and Drink... we went all inclusive to me it's a waste unless your going to live on cheese or ham n cheese toasties and pork burgers (it's not beef) and drink only san Miguel or vodka and sodas very little options majority of drinks has fee even if your all inclusive .... each day there's choice for all inclusive food the pool 1 snack 1 sweet 1 sandwich and choice of 2 hot food, basically popcorn or nuts a muffin or pastry ham n cheese toasties or cheese toasties and a burger or crepes. chips pizza nuggets etc are all extra. The buffet is not great if you've a fussy eater forget about it. Pasta and salad was OK fish and meat very oily and poor selection. No drinks wit dinner only water you'd want to bring them up from the bar with you. Ice creams by the pool are only for kids for 1 hour of the day with all inclusive , they are 2 to 4 euro each outside that. Pool is fabulous lots of sunbeds but cud do wit shades. Great location close to beach and shops and main strip of restaurants not far. Don't waste your money wit all inclusive like we did it's very very basic and misleading. Entertainment is not great either a quiz or bingo done through an app on ur phone at 10/10.30pm when ur fit for bed if you've kids. It's a nice hotel but I wouldn't come back again.

Had a week all inclusive. Lovely staff, hotel clean and well kept. Close to beach & center. Rooms was of a good size but a little dated. If you travel with jet2holidays and want a pool view be prepared to pay an extra €12 per day otherwise you're auto booked into a room at back of hotel which overlooked road & greenery. Safe deposit box €3 a day plus €6 refundable deposit so €21 euros for a week, seems expensive. Food good, could be hotter, need more choice with the salad options but otherwise plenty of choice. Be early for tea which starts at 7.30 as it gets very busy & you may need to queue. Pool area very clean but there are No umbrellas/parasols with any of the sun loungers, no shaded areas which when it's very hot was not good. The only parasols are where the seating area is around the bar. For a family hotel this was not good. Bar service excellent but choice of drinks was poor for all inclusive and the cocktails are ready mixed.....not good quality. Food from the bar, burgers hotdogs chips etc was good and cooked well. Entertainment only really began the day we came home prior to that there was nothing during the day and only bingo or quiz of an evening but the young guy tried. Overall we enjoyed our stay, we would say this hotel is 3 star and is a good position- 5mins walk to beach, 10 min walk to town centre which was bustling and has a lovely square where small concerts bands etc are held. Train station is close by take your passport and buy a travel ticket €10 which gives you unlimited travel, great if you want to visit Barcelona, Tossa der Mar or anywhere else.

Management changed the all inclusive finishing time the week before we arrived so instead of 11.30pm it now finishes at 11pm, also they took off the Irish Cream from the drinks menu half way through our stay, we had to purchase our own Tabasco sauce as their Bloody Mary consists of Vodka and Tomatoe juice, although we were given salt and pepper, we have stayed here 4 times but unfortunately won’t be coming back , not sure how it can be classed as a 4 Star, cleaners and staff very friendly however the lady manager was very dismissive , entertainment was mediocre and children’s entertainment doesn’t start 9-9.30 then onto adult entertainment which finished at 11 Ideal location for beach and main town which is beautiful.

We stayed in this hotel with 6 friends for four days. I was very disappointed with the service and hospitality of some of the staff members. 1. With regards to the All Inclusive concept: not everything is AI. We asked for a tomato juice and was told that the price was 2 euro. We asked to have some lemon, salt/peper in the juice and the price was raised to 4 euro. After telling the reception, the manager never spoke to us about this matter. Furthermore, the fact that adults can not order ice cream is not very service minded. 2. In the restaurant we were given a table for 5 people, which meant that one person had to sit on the corner of the table. The next day we requested a bigger table and were told that they could not put 2 tables together. We ended up doing it ourselfs with much complaints from the restaurant staff (the restaurant was not very full). 3. Housekeeping refused to give some of us extra towels when we asked for just two. 4. The food in the restaurant is basic and not very tasteful. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel. I have lived in Spain for many years, have travelled in Spain many times, but did not feel the Spanish friendliness and hospitality I am used to in this hotel.

Just returned from another fantastic 11 all inclusive days at this hotel. Following a request I made via email,regarding staying in the same room as we did 11 months ago. We were given the same room. The room is spacious with 2 single beds pushed together with clean white sheets,a small fridge, balcony( facing down the side of the hotel,which we prefer instead of overlooking the pool) and a clean bathroom with a bath and shower. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard and fresh towels left. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Monica was lovely and was always interested in what we had done during the day. Absolutely loved the fact that there were only 3 other English couples throughout our stay,giving us a great feeling of been away from home. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice hot or cold , it was mainly European but that's why we go to Spain to sample different food and try new things. Plenty of salad ,fruit. and bbq meat. The service given by the staff is second to none, plates are cleared away as soon as you finish, everywhere is cleaned and as soon as you leave the table it's re set for the next customer. It all runs like clockwork. The pool area is clean and tidy. Entertainment at night was good with various acts. It was all in Spanish ,but that's probably because most of the guests were Spanish. Calella is a great place with lovely shops,the beaches were quiet ( it was start of the season) and are 5 mins walk away from the hotel. Train station links to Barcelona every half hour €11 return per adult. We will definitely be back.

Went on an all inclusive to this hotel. Asked for a poolside view months before got a building site view and we're told we had to pay €120 to upgrade which tbh we had to. Told all jet2 customers get rooms round the back not told that when booking. Entertainment each night REALLY 4 nights out of 11 .food just passable but always cold. Would not recommend this hotel as it really has gone backwards apparently.
