Just got back yesterday and I have to say the hotel bar and reception were nice, but don't let that fool you, the rooms were small, cold and the fact that they have 1 plug per room (near the sink!!) was a bit useless. the best thing i can say about the Hotel Espanya is it`s location, it is literally right on the beach, that`s a plus point! although seperating the hotel from the beach is the main railway line to Barcelona, you have to cross the tracks at crossing points to access the beach, but you get used to that and it`s not... more

Really pleasant stay in hotel Espanya. Rooms are quite small for two adults and two children but conform to **+ hotel in my opinion. Staff is very polite and friendly and restaurant is - simply the best. I can recommend this hotel for family holiday. more

Nice stay at Hotel Espanya. Staff are polite, room was warm, (December) clean & comfortable. Good central location but awoken at night by late night revellers (room at front of hotel). Ask for an inside room if you are a light sleeper. Prices reasonable and breakfast good. Would probably return and had no complaints. more
