upon arrival we were told, lo siento. they were overbooked. so they stuck us in what appeared to be a closet not normally rented (the 'only room unrehabilitated in the hotel'). we had no air conditioning, no light bulbs (!), a broken shower, and we were given the room normally (it appeared) used to keep extra gear for the maids... more

After a slightly shaky start with a confusion over arrival dates, we settled down into the perfect family beach holiday.
