very good hotel , half board meals very good and good value. Wilderswil is a charming village and is ideally placed for visiting the whole of the jungfrau region. Pick a clear day for an unforgettable visit to the jungfraujoch, top of Europe. Wengen and Grindelwald are stunning mountain resorts, the flower filled meadows are exquisite. just up the hill enough for a great view both down the valley and up in the mountains. Owner is the best and hardest worker I have ever seen. Breakfasts are great! Popular and full when we were there. Enjoy the mountains! more

It looks like it is no secret that the Berghof is a good choice: the place was full when we arrived in August, or so it seemed because it was not easy to find a free space in the car park of the hotel. What a hotel!!!!! Set in peaceful countryside but only a short drive to Interlaken. Room 17 was enormous with an equally large bathroom that was well decked out. Both rooms had balconies with the bedroom overlooking the "Big Three" of the Jungfraujoch region. The sound of cowbells from the nearby farms finished off the Swiss experience nicely.
