We stayed here with out twin 6 year old daughters for a long weekend after reading a recommendation in Lonely Planet. The schloss has been sympathetically restored but in a modern style, and the quality of the refurbishments to the fabric of the building are fantastic. The restaurant is now open and is good, and uses produce from the hotel's... more

Stayed here while cycling down the Rhine. The Swiss travel agent had booked it for me so I had no idea what it was going to be like on my arrival. I arrived at Rorschach after a long cycle ride and discovered this was up the hill. I bottled it and decided to get the mountain train to the hotel.... more
