I stayed at the Forclaz over the President's Day weekend, mid-February. Reason was the hotel in Martigny is central to the three ski areas that comprised the planned Ski Safari trip: Verbier, Portes du Soleil, and Crans Montana. My wife, 2.5 year-old daughter, and I stayed at the Hotel Forclaz Touring (rated 3 *) in late August. It’s very close to the train station, about a block away.
