I stayed last week in Mercure Amersfoort. They say it is a 4 star hotel, but the rooms are not worth more than 2-3 stars. Both the room and bathroom are small, basic and simple. It is clean however. This is a good hotel. Location is perfect if you're driving through the Netherlands going somewhere else or want to stay near one of the big cities without being right in them.
