We had booked the 3 rooms at Southern Wood, to attend a family Christening. We had travelled 400 miles, with an email confirming the booking, from 'Dave' only to find on our arrival, no 'Dave' and someone else in our rooms - he'd obviously got a better offer - be aware!

The room was decorated and equipped to an extremely high standard - much more what I would expect from a high rated hotel rather than a town B&B. The owners were fantastic and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We'll definitely be returning to Southernwood next time we're in Didcot!
