We booked at the very last minute as we were in the east end of London after a very long and tiring day and felt too tired to drive back home. As a result, we paid £59 for a room - rack rate, no discount. The room was shabby but clean. But - no shower curtain, no remote control for... more

If at all possible avoid this 'hotel'. Its what can only be described as a perfect example of Health and Safety violations set into practice. Rude Staff, Dirty Reception Area etc. From the Smell of dirty cat litter in the room, the feaces on the wall.. YES THERE WAS POO ON THE WALL!! To the filthy bathroom. Soaking wet floor,... more

My wife and I stayed at this Travelodge for one night whilst in London for a weekend. We were looking for somewhere quiet and clean with parking and thus this hotel was ideal. There is a multi-storey car park next door to the hotel with the 9th floor being for Travelodge guests; parking is free from 5 PM to 9... more

I was lucky enough to get one of the £19 deals, so I can't complain about value for money, but I think I would still have been satisfied if the price had been anything below £50. I had a good-sized, clean room with a pleasant bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. In the heart of Ilford (this hotel should... more

I am sorry to say that this was a terrible three days. Nothing to add to the negative reviews already posted they are all very accurate. I will not be returning and cannot recommend it under any circumstances. Sorry, but this must rate as the worst Travelodge, of the many, I have stayed in throughout the UK. more

I have stayed 10 out of 19 travelodges(with in A406 circular road, south london) before, but this is the one and only worst travelodge. Well, talking about family rooms... soiled pull out bed with no linen cover, no hot water in the wash basin, leaking toilet every time we flush (hotel came up with the idea of placing a towel... more

Stayed for two nights from Sunday 17th Aug - Mon 18th Aug 2008. Arrived at 13.45pm on Sunday. Couldn't check in until 3pm unless we wanted to pay a £10 early check-in fee. We didn't so took our luggage back to car (which is on level 9 of the adjacent car park, the same floor as travelodge reception). Went for... more

Having stayed at both many budget hotels and good hotels alike I generally rate my stay by how comfortable the stay is. The hotel is in a good location in Ilford town centre, next to a Cineworld cinema. We booked 4 rooms for a family function. Each room was at the front of the hotel which was on the main... more

Myself and my partner went to london for a long weekend and stayed in this hotel. I booked online a couple of weeks in advance and got a family room (double bed, and bed sette) for £25 per night. You know what you get with these hotels, spacious clean room, onsuite with bath and power shower, colour tv and coffe... more

Was working in Stratford and was therefore booked into the Ilford Travelodge. A few semi-issues that for the visit were not a problem due to the length of stay and the fact that the hotel is budget. The room itself was a family room on the third floor and as I was travelling alone, I had plenty of space. There... more
