We stayed 1 night for our visit to alderley Edge which is only a 5 min taxi dtive. Rooms were big. Bed comfy and hotel was very quiet. Would stay again. Breakfast was very nice. The adjoining pub was great which is where breakfast was served. Bar staff could smile a little more.

Reasonable value for money. Reasonable service. Dry pie and chips - disappointing. Presentation awful. The salad was OK but too spicy. Would go here for a drink but not to eat. Good location, with hotel facilities but not up to the mark on food quality or presentation.

I’ve never stayed at this place, but Sunday lunch was an interesting experience. It’s billed as a carvery, but, unlike most carvery places where self-service is the order of the day, here it is served by staff, placing items on a plate to your instruction, and then handing the plate over upon completion. Now this is all very well, but... More

Stayed Thurs 21s Feb. Its travelodge type accommodation built as a separate block at the back of the pub - good news is its quiet. Its not bad value accommodation but it all needs a refurb, especially the bathrooms. Our bathroom had brown marks all over the ceiling despite a noisy extractpor which whirred away for ages after the light... More

One night booked in a family room. 2 adults 2 children. The bedroom it's self was adequate, but that's it. The room was very cold. I turned the heating up as much as I could but there was no heating in he bathroom. The bathroom was suitable for wheelchair use but to be honest it was one of the worst... More

I reviewed this hotel last in November 2011 and have stayed a couple of times since while visiting friends in Wilmslow. The location is ideal being so central and close to where they live, However on this occasion (December 2012) it became clear that the hotel is in serious need of some TLC. The bedrooms are stll comfortable and a... More

We have booked several business contacts into this hotel in the past without any complaint. That is, till a new receptionist started about four weeks ago who is more than useless! It has made us look elsewhere to place our clients. The lady makes the hotel booking process very stressful, and even then you can't be sure everything is sorted... More

We stayed at the Wilmslow Lodge on both Friday and Saturday night and found the experience to be really good. The reception is manned from about 8.00 a.m to 7.00 p.m but it is easy to contact someone from a phone left in reception with instuctions. The rooms are clean and have a king size bed and are lovely and... More

Stayed on a number of occasions and overall this hotel is good. Its rooms are well decorated and fitted. There's plenty of parking and staff are helpful. Only problems are the wi-fi, which wasn't working during our most recent stay, and the bathrooms which really do need redecorating as they currently resemble something from a leisure centre. Despite these two... More
