My husband and I stayed at Rylands the evening before flying to Cyprus for a 2 week holiday. Warm welcome when we arrived very helpful told us where to park our car as we were leaving it for the 2 weeks, shown to our room which was small but very clean and modern. We walked to the pub for our... more

I was really worried about staying here after reading the awful reviews on here but our stay was fine. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the hosts who later informed us they had only been there a week and were just looking after it and in my opinion doing a great job. Our room was compact and bijou... more

I wouldnt recommend this hotel unless you are a very good sleeper. The family cottage (number 3) was 20 foot from a very busy road, its comparable to pitching a tent on the hard shoulder of the M25. Not a plesent experience at all. We hardly slept at all. Breakfast was ok but basic. I had to knock the owner... more

My daughter and I stayed (again, the first time was in August 2008) here at Rylands Farm. We enjoyed it all so much in August we returned and were again not disappointed. From the lovely, tastefully decorated and furnished rooms to the breathtaking views across the countryside, and horses, rabbits and even a pheasant to be seen, we loved it!... more

We couldn't have had a nicer stay, we were there from Wed. to Sat. morning and returned again from Mon. to Wed. morning. Couldn't have been made much more welcome Both Dave and his wife were very friendly she always had a smile and gave us as much support as could be expected. His wife even gave my wife a... more

The owner of this establishment has to be one of the most un-welcoing 'hosts' I have ever come across! He was rude to us and rude to his wife in front of us. We arrived to a grumpy face at the door - no words of welcome or anything. I introduced myself and he just left the door open and... more

On arrival Rylands appeared to be Ok, the room was ok neat and tidy only complaint regarding the room it backed onto the busy main road and was very noisy throughout the night. We arranged a 7.30am transfer to the airport at 8.15am we still had not been taken, it seemed very chaotic in the breakfast room with staff not... more

We were advised that the room would be ready at 2pm, however upon arrival at 3pm the family room wasnt! having said this they had made it up in 10 minutes and they said they were busier than normal. the family room was of good size and ideal. We had booked via the... more

This guest house is in an ideal situation for anyone who needs a place to stay before flying on holiday from Manchester Airport. You are able to arrange to leave your car for the duration of your holiday and they transport you to and from the airport. There is an addition charge for the parking but it is at a... more
