We have just stayed at this great 4star rated B&B, which was well situated between Grantham and Newark, a mile or two off the A1, in a lovely tranquil village. Our hosts Rosemary and Adrian were so friendly to us, and the overseas friend we met up with. On arrival we had tea and home baked cakes in the sunny conservatory, this treat hit the spot after our long journey.

Our rooms were beautifully decorated, with everything we needed. There was a good selection of toiletries in the large en suite bathrooms, and our bed was very comfortable. There were lovely little extra's in the room, such as grapes and home made flapjack replenished daily, and a good selection of teas and hot drinks.

Breakfast was a feast to set us up for our busy days, Adrian and Rosemary were very flexible over our times, when we needed an early breakfast - they even said they would do 4am if we wanted - but early for us was a 7am breakfast!! There was a good selection of cereals... more
