Mu husband and I stayed at the blue bay Dec. 5th until Dec. 12th and had a very relaxing vacation. Reading the past reveiws yes they are pretty accurate. Never before when I stayed in Cuba did we have a problem with bugs but my husband got bitten a lot but I think it is because he was at the... more

Left Toronto airport an hour late due to weather, but were happy to leave the winter behind. Our Westjet flight was pretty uneventful and smooth. Landed around 2:45 in Cayo Coco, hot, sunny, and windy. Saw the 'temperature-gauging machine" as we were all coralled through an area before going through customs. We were met at the hotel with a nice... more

From the moment we entered the resort we were treated amazingly well. Front reception has everything in order upon arrival, and within minutes of many travellers getting off the bus we had our rooms allocated to us. The snack bar servers/(bartenders) put in many long hours each day and always with a warm smile! Juan, and Vidjma thanks so much!... more

My boyfriend and I went for a week with our 3 month old daughter. Generally, things were good but there were some flaws and annoyances. Our room was nice, they gave us a nice big playpen for the baby (we ended up just putting her in bed with us but it was nice to have it just in case). We... more

We were down at BB from Nov 28 - Dec 5th. The weather was wonderful. Rooms are clean. Resort is on the small side but that's okay. Drinks were below par - my one and only margarita ended up in the bushes. I don't like a pina colada made with sugar in the bottom, they're sweet enough. I resorted to... more

Great hotel overall. The price was right and there was nothing to complain about other than the duration of our stay. We looked at other area hotels and were glad we picked this one. I'll lilkely regret recommending this but if you can manage to tear yourself away from the magnetic pull of pre-paid food and drink and venture west... more

"just the facts Ma'am" Irony at its best. You pay money to go and everyone at the Cayo Coco airport greets you garbed in green surgical masks and some in white lab coats! We felt very special! Weather the first week of Dec. was 22C at night and 28-30C during the day. Sky partly cloudy to sunny and no rain.... more

Flight was great, with sunwing both ways. Arrival: We were greeted by ALL STAFF members wearing masks-scared of H1N1. Luggage was collected quickly, changed money at the cadeca in the airport very quickly. Boarded the bus, and made it to the resort in 20min. Check in was fast, welcomed with a cold refreshing drink. We emailed Ademir Perez Ortiz (... more

Nov. 10/09 - Nov 17/09. - We started off bad with Sunwing redirecting our flight to the Mayan Riviera which delayed our arrival by 3 hours. We arrived at the resort and were greeted by a welcome drink and a speedy check-in. The staff were very friendly. Our baggage arrived at our room (#2406) in good time. We had a... more
