I spent two complicated weeks in Haiti and this hotel made it. It`s way more than you'd expect: new, clean, big rooms facing the sea, great food, helpful personnel. We stayed at Cap Lamandou for 3 days coming from bainet for a family reunion of 16 of us ranging from 10 to 55+ years old. Some of our relatives are also from Jacmel so we wanted to visit prior to going back to Port-Au-Prince. The hotel is nicely situated overlooking the ocean and the mountains. Our Christian missionary stay was uneventful with very good rooms, TV, food (except the fried turkey) and service. The free breakfast bar was very adequate. The pool and ocean swimming were fine. We will return. more

Cap lamandou is one of the best hotels in haiti. It is one of the best hotels i experienced in haiti. The hotel catered to local as well as foreign tourists. With channels from the United States and local programming it gave me a high level of comfort. Not to mention,t he morning breakfast buffet is amazingly delicious. more
