I didn't get the chance to stay here, but our group had a great meal at their restaurant. Good service, good drinks, and good food. Great atmosphere too. The only downside was when it rains, the front of the restaurant floods. But that's what happens when you visit during a rainy season. We just grabbed a few more drinks and...

The Florita has been a fantastic place to stay. The buildings are beautiful, staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms we stayed in were quiet and comfortable. They offered to pick us up at the bus station, but we opted to take the local moto taxis instead, which they helped us negotiate a reasonable price on their end.

For those valuing Caribbean heritage, then a meal or even a sleep is de rigueur when visiting historic Jacmel, and touring its old quarter, in the heart of the town by the little port. For breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Hotel Florita is a must, for good Haitian food and drink. My grilled redfish dinner was delicious. Great place for...

I did not have the chance to stay at Florita, but I enjoyed all mi visits there regarding the Wi-fi, the natural fruit juices and the interesting people at the lobby. I also know they treated very well to my friends who actually live at Jacmel. If I return. I guarantee more visits.

After weeks of living and working at a home for boys, I welcomed some time for reflection, private space, and the opportunity to experience the arts community for which Jacmel is famous. I found this oasis at Hotel Florita. The Hotel Florita is the only building from the 19th century that is still in use in Jacmel. It offers elegant...

The trip ended up being amazing and this was largely due to the new world amenities and old world hospitality that we received at the Hotel Florita. It was an amazing experience...

Joe Cross is the owner of Hotel Florita in Jacmel, Haiti. He's very interested in the well-being of Jacmel and has been helpful to our endeavors. Though I did not get a chance to spend the night at his hotel, my wife and I dined at the restaurant with some friends. The property is quite and clean, a nice break...

Visited the Cine Institute in Jacmel ( a must visit with amazing theater/film program).
The management connected us with a live local band. They came over our hotel and the whole team ( 25 ppl ) dance through the night to some salsa and lots of laughter.
Love this place....good memories...

This charming hotel was everything I expected after glancing at the pictures and so much more. Upon arrival we spent an hour just taking photos of the hotel. We had the pleasure of staying in a two room suite (rm 301) with a wide terrace overlooking the quiet street. I took complete advantage of it, watching the stars at night,...
