Went to Culebra around late April/Early May on 2008 and stayed for three days. If you want a place where you want to get away from civilization, this is it! Flamenco Beach was utterly breathtaking! It was the only highlight of our stay. We stayed at Culebra Beach Villa, which was at Flamenco Beach front. It was a studio type place which was somewhat decent. Outside, cats were everywhere. Cellphone signal was scarce, like I said, away from civilization. From the main road to the Villa was such a bumpy ride that will literally shake your head off. We rented a jeep and drove around the island and it only took us one day to see the hot spots of Culebra. They also have "siesta" hours so be sure to eat/buy food before the restaurants close. I recommend Culebra for a day trip, just to experience Flamenco Beach. If you want to stay for a night, I suggest to rent a jeep and explore. more
