We stayed at Casita Linda for the last 2 nights of our stay in Culebra two weeks ago. We had a hugely unpleasant experience. Don't stay here if you can avoid it. We got stuck in the St. Patty's Day snowstorm on the East Coast and called to cancel the first night of our reservation at Casita Linda, BUT they still charged us! We stayed in Casita Linda for 3 night and 4 days and had a very pleasant stay. The upper floor unit has a beautifull view of the canal and the nearby restaurants. The unit is well equipped with complete kitchen, 2 air-conditioned bedrooms (one of them barely cooling so please ask if it has been replaced before making your reservation)... more
If you go to Culebra anytime in the year 2004 - please note their streets are all torn up right now because they are installing new city sewer, so if you stay anywhere you may or maynot have running water at your hotel.WE arrived on a hot afternoon, all sticky, sweaty, we had made a reservation at the Casita Linda... more
