We went for four nights to this beautiful remote retreat in far northern Australia. It was wonderful to escape the winter and sleep in open sided habitats with the sounds of the Bay and the local wildlife to keep you company. The rooms are relaxing and have everything you need, provided you are prepared to do without the outside world.... more

My husband and I opted for a two night stay as we were pressed for time. The staff ensured that we had the opportunity to experience as much as possible of the complimentary escorted (very knowledgeable) tours into the bushland and to the beaches - and the other services available. We learnt heaps about the bushland and its riches. Wildlife... more

I've been to Seven Spirit Bay twice. Most recently, my wife and I went this past September. It is expensive.....perhaps overly so. But it is also a very special place and, in my opinion, it may be worth it. There is no other place where you'll get a better sense of the Top End of Australia. It is remote, relatively... more

HORRIBLE! Terribly over-priced and over-rated, with almost no activities. While the natural setting may be beautiful, there are far better places to stay in equally beautiful settings, particularly for the huge amount of money demanded. We stayed 3 days in June in two units that were at best 3-star at 7-star prices. I've travelled to every continent and stayed in... more

Most beautiful and peaceful resort to stay for at least 4 night, wish we had stayed longer. Rooms unusual as bathroom outside, ours was a little longer walk, but after the first walk in the dark, lighted by torch light, it was so peaceful, and not scary in the least, just disappointment at not being able to see what was... more

I must confess my wife and I were a little hesitant about going to Seven Spirit Bay Lodge, because it is very remote. In fact, If we had known some of the things we were about to go trough while there (like spiders and dingoes, just to mention a few), we would not have booked at all. But I am... more

I took my husband to 7 spirit bay for his 40th, we've travelled all over the world (lots in Australia). This is our favourite place so far. The bathrooms are gorgeous!! Its a bit odd to start with going to the toilet outside but by the time you go home you're hooked!! Remember to close the door to the bathroom... more

Interesting place. We loved the location and the scenery and accomodations. It was truly the Australian bush experience. "Glorified Camping" I called it. We flew in a tiny plane from Darwin (the pilot had to crawl in through the window) and landed in a dirt strip on the peninsula. We took a 4-wheel drive to the lodge. Upon arrival we... more
