Have just returned from a weekender to forget.. Arrived at the hotel during fairly bad weather and there was no power to process the check-in. Was told power would be out for a couple of hours, so grabbed the keys and went elsewhere to grab a meal and give them a chance to get the power back on. Arrived back... more

We needed somewhere to stay in Scarborough, WA, while visiting relatives - just for one week. We found the West Beach Lagoon exactly what we needed - clean, spacious, inexpensive and comfortable. It is not the newest complex, but this did not matter as we spent most of our time elsewhere with our family who live in the vicinity. The... more

This hotel was excellent in all categories. Presentation in rooms, outside surroundings, customer service and much more. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Perth. Only 15 minutes away from CBD. But there's always buses or taxis to catch. And even local shops in couple of minutes of walking distance. Friends love it! And so do... more

Now called the West Beach Lagoon, this hotel is separated (or obstructed) from the beach by the Seashells Apartments. Our room was away from the highway and functional but tired looking. We booked this through flight centre. In hindsight this was a mistake as the travel agent didn't know very much about the place. If you do book this then I suggest you go direct. First of all bear in mind these apartments are basic. Think accommodation you would find at Butlins / pontins / one step up from student accommodation.... more

My brother had booked this accomodation for us and when i checked out its website it looked fine. The property is second line to the beach , however our apartment enjoyed uninterrupted views which were magnificant. Internally the apartment was v basic and though clean had a "past its best" feel. We stayed last 6 days of our vacation in this hotel and enjoyed Scarborough like we did 8 years ago. Tried the Seashell serviced apartments first (we stayed there in 1998), best bet in Scarborough, but they did not have vacancy for 6 days and we did not want to move any more.
