Martinborough is a quiet sleepy town in a great location in the middle of a wine growing area and this hotel is slap bang in the middle of town. It has a great restaurant and pleasant decor . We can not fault this hotel at all, it was perfect. We held a very small wedding in the courtyard and nothing was too much trouble from helping with a florist to sweeping up confetti. Great place to stay in Martinborough. The hotel is magnificently restored and has everything you need. We had a garden room and it was a good size with large bathroom and full size claw foot bath. Bed was huge and had seriously good linen. Minibar was well stocked and laffare coffee and plunger was a bonus. Very well located right... more

This is a nice hotel with very nice clean rooms and good size bathrooms. However the pictures of the actual building are very misleading, they show the hotel to be built on a green field surrounded only by grass, when in actual fact it's on a street corner in the town! A very nice hotel, conveniently located for visiting the vineyards in the area. The restaurant is excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. Make sure to get a room on the second floor where you can sit outside on the veranda to try your wine. No elevator or help with the luggage more
