This is an incredible location, in 6 acres of formal gardens and NZ native 'bush' Within minutes it felt like we were staying with old friends. The cottage, with everything we could possibly need (and more!) is just perfect and feels like a home, away from home. If only every place we stay on this vacation could be as good... more

I stayed in the accommodation attached to the main house. I had a bedroom, lounge, bathroom and kitchenette to myself. These rooms were extremely well appointed with quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. We were totally spoilt by the hosts - our every need met twice over! They were not only hospitable and polite, but great fun too. Their beautiful home is surrounded by manicured gardens that makes the stay even more of a luxury! Luxurious rooms in a most beautiful setting with the bonus of the swimming pool, coupled with Susie and Martin's friendliness and helpful knowledge of the area made this the best on our visit to New Zealand. We wished we had allowed ourselves more time to stay longer. more
