We stayed in this hotel because my in-laws booked it for us. To begin with the price was $20 higher than the price the hotel advertises and it just got worse when we went into the room. The carpet and bathroom floor were both wet and the room stunk. The shower-head was leaking. We had to turn on the heat... more

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed. Ever. The place was filthy. The building ramshackle. I quarantined my bag in case I brought back bedbugs. The door didn't want to close. At 3 AM someone next door decided to come in and turn on loud rap music. As I was fairly sure that it was a drug... more

We went to Roanoke from NC for a short visit/over night stay. We stayed from Saturday to Sunday at another popular chain. Due to dense fog we could not leave town so we decided to stay another night in Roanoke. This time we chose to stay at the Knights Inn. Tthe staff never answered the phone to give us directions.... more

It was after dark & this place looked ok at the front desk & from the road. No one should have to stay here. The other reviews are correct in that the carpet was filthy with ground in dirt. We had our small dog & I didn't even want her to walk on the floor. The room smelled bad,the mattresses... more

My boyfriend and I stayed overnight at Knights Inn. We asked for a smoking room but got a non-smoking room. We let that go. The sink had no stopper so if you by chance dropped anything around the sink, it probably would have gone down the drain. THEN the toilet got stopped up. We called the front desk and told... more

This was the worst place I have ever seen. They should be shut down permanently. It was filthy and unsafe. I suggest you go to the Super 8 up the hill. more

Unfortunately I have to say I was VERY disappointed in the Knights Inn Hotel we stayed at. 1. We requested a non-smoking room and although there was a sign on the door stating this, there was an ashtray on the nightstand, burn marks on the top of the bathtub, and at least 3 burn marks on the top bedspread. It... more

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was taking my 83 year old grandmother to visit her sister in VA...when temps reached about 83 and our air condition did not work...we called to get it fixed or get a new room. The technician came to our room looked at it..and said it was working...but before leaving... more

We stayed at the knights Inn the weekend after mothers day in 04. I see by reading other reviews that the showers still are not fixed. My sister put her child in that shower only to be scalded by the hot water, and then frozen the next min. On the third day of our stay, there wasn't any hot water... more

My room had a beer bottle cap stuck onto the wall, the sheets were not clean or washed, cockroaches in the bathroom, bathroom door would not close properly without damaging the door edge. The air conditioner was not working making the room warm and stuffy, and was held up by tape and had no grilles. The staff was rude especially... more
