This is an historic hotel in downtown Roanoke which is clean and attractive. The service is very good and the staff is friendly. The only downside is that the rooms lack some of the modern amenities one would expect in a hotel of this caliber. Regardless I would recommend this as a primary choice for accommodations in Roanoke, VA.

The Hotel Roanoke harkens back to the late 1800's but is now a modern accomodation which maintains its classic roots. The rooms are large and typical of the Hilton chain to which they belong. We travel north and south every year and always get off the highway rather than stay in "highway chain hotels" This gem of a hotel is only minutes off the highway and well worth it. Loaded with history, great service and very good food.....highly recommend it!

Had wrong room at check in at first. Dirty wash cloth in floor. Staff took care of getting us right room. Rooms are not that nice for price.
