very clean, modern & cheerful. staff was very pleasant. Hotel was close to the reception hall the Waterford, and there was a shuttle to the reception which was also wonderful. The bar service was not so good; took forever to get food. Lots to choose from on the breakfast bar.

We like to stay in the outskirts of Washington, then ride the metro into DC. This is the perfect hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
