There are many nice B and Bs in Staunton and this is one of them. We reserved a less expensive room and were upgraded as there were extra rooms. The room we chose had white carpet and the proprietor wanted no shoes worn in the room, but that was no problem. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The... More

I called Carolyn the Tuesday before to make a reservation for a spontaneous weekend getaway! She was very nice and gracious in arranging our accomodations. We stayed in the 1890's room in the main house, which IS a small room, with the use of the hall bathroom (so, bring a bathrobe if you book this room!). The breakfast they served... More

What a perfect base for a vacation in the Staunton, VA area. We so enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts served by Carolyn and Ralph, the owners. Then the guys went cycling while I headed down the hill to shop and drink tea. When I had enough packages, I just took the Trolley up to above the B&B and walked down. The... More

This review is LONG overdue. First, I called and spoke with Carolyn, the owner, and discussed availability and options for Easter weekend. She extremely helpful in describing her different accommodations and recommended the perfect rental to suit our needs. We booked The Craftsman Style house at a very reasonable price for the weekend. The best part for me was I... More

We had this B&B to ourselves when we visited. Lovely Victorian property in a good location for town. Delightful owners. Excellent breakfast and car parking on site. More

We enjoyed staying at the Staunton Choral Gardens Bed and Breakfast Luxury Suite so much, we are looking forward to a return visit very soon! The luxury suite was so comfortable and inviting, we didn't want to leave. We visited Polyface Farm in the afternoon where we purchased wonderful steaks and so much more. We had everything we needed in... More

Carolyn also has a house to rent called "The Farmhouse." It is just a little ways out of "town", but offers an entire rustic home in a relaxed but convenient location. (Check it out on her B&B website.) We all had room to spread out and not be "too close for comfort." No one comes to cook breakfast, unfortunately, without... More

This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast. We stayed two nights in the "Garden Room". A queen size bed including complete bath/shower overlooked the "gardens" of the B and B. The owners, Carolyn and Ralph were warm, friendly, and enjoyable to meet. The breakfast both mornings far exceeded our expectations. If you plan a trip to Staunton... More

I looked for a B&B in Staunton where I could stay with our 2 teens - and Choral Gardens has 2 rooms with a double or queen and a twin. The room was small but charming and several "common areas" are available, including a lovely garden. As I have a food allergy, I especially appreciated being asked about our dining... More

We completely enjoyed our weekend Anniversary escape! Carolyn and her husband are GREAT hosts. We especially enjoyed our conversations with our hosts along with each outstanding breakfast. You can walk from the B&B to anywhere downtown! Many good restaurants and shops. We recommend the Depot restaurant and seeing glass being blown at Sunspots Studios. We are planning on returning for... More
