we have specifically asked for a non smoking room, were given a smoke-filled room. Had to sleep in the car in the parking lot with the kids instead!!! afraid for our safety... just terrible hotel - nobody cares - would not return the money or give another room more

I'm concerned about the stay you experienced at our hotel during your recent visit. I'm writing to thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to my attention. We accommodate many guests each evening, and the principal goal of our hotel is to provide dependable service to each at a reasonable price. Consequently, it's disappointing to learn that...

This was easily the worst stay of my life. I am not a picky person and I never write reviews, but this place deserves a bad review. The room was falling apart, but I expected that. The safe was inoperable due to missing buttons. The cold water shower knob came completly out of the wall when we turned it. Both... more

I'm concerned about the stay you experienced at our hotel during your recent visit. A hotel is defined by the quality of service that it provides to its guests. Because our success is measured by how our guests evaluate our services and facilities, I want you to know that the comments and suggestions we receive are taken seriously. They tell...

This hotel was terrible. It was the nastiest place I have ever stayed in, plus it was just plain unsafe. While we were there 3 Cops showed up and were interogating someone down the hall, it ended up with the family being kicked out at almost 11PM. Other issues: 1 inch gap below the door (it started hailing that night... more

This motel didn't have seals on the doors or windows. Some people were talking in conversational voices outside my room (not being innappropriately noisy at all). The room may have not even had walls. The door and windows did nothing to seal out noise. The fridge and microwave did not work. There was no blanket on the bed, and the... more

We will never stay at an Econo Lodge again! We had to leave the last night of our stay because of very strong cigarette stench coming from the bathroom vent into our non-smoking room. I have severe asthma, and absolutely could not remain there. The rug by front door was ripped and partially bare. You could not make local phone... more

Had to stay one night in Virginia Beach to pick up my daughter from Marine Corp school.I did not want to stay along the ocean and pay around $180.00 per night . So I settled for this motel away from the beach . Paying $79 for one night I knew what I was getting. Over all my room was ok,... more

On behalf of our hotel staff, I am writing to let you know how delighted we were to receive your kind words of praise. Given the very nature of the hotel business, the hours are long and demanding. Day or night, good service depends upon people willing to give their very best at all times. That's why it's truly rewarding...

Do not stay at this Econo Lodge! We requested a non-smoking room but our room smelled like a tobacco factory. And apparently the sink was leaking which caused a mildew smell in the room. We really noticed the leak in the morning when we washed up and stepped on a wet carpet and saw the duct tape (no joke -... more
