We've stayed here every year in April for the past 3 years. The last two years haven't been too bad, except that this year they had charged us triple. We could of stayed at the Hilton for the price they charged us. The rooms are not that great and a little bit sketchy. But, amazing price and oceanview. I would... more

My sister and I stayed at this hotel in September 2008. We had asked for a floor on one of the upper levels because my sister had never been to Virginia Beach and i wanted her to see the best view possible. When we got there, they put u son the second floor! When i told the man in the... more

We just drove down to the beach and was trying to find a motel, everything was either booked or was way out of our price range. We stopped at the Seahawk and the manager gave us a great rate and let us look at the room first. The room was very clean and the staff was really on top of... more

We stay at the Seahawk each year for our annual Va Beach getaway, but only because my parents have stayed there for ages and they're kind of adverse to change. It provides reasonable accomodations for a reasonable price, although without a doubt, has some cleanliness issues related to the linens and bathrooms. Not enough to gross you out, but enough... more

My co-workers and I stay here EVERY time our electronics convention meets in Va Beach. The staff is relatively friendly, the room rates are reasonable (you get what you pay for) and personally I would rather stay here than at a larger, more expensive motel, as we have more money for souveneirs, partying and food. We always get rooms ON... more

The rooms were actually not all that bad considering this was not one of the bigger chains and considering the price for the room was not that high. I did have a problem being told the pool was heated, it was not. After 4 days of complaining about it and other guests staying at the hotel doing the same, we... more

We arrived at the beach on Memorial Day weekend and everyone seemed to be booked for the night. We found the Sea Hawk and thought this would be great, small and cozy, an indoor pool, an oceanside view, beside the boardwalk. It did seem great until bed time. My girls were in their bed and my husband and I pulled... more

5/6/07- We found the room to be relatively clean with a nice view. However, the kitchen and appliances were extremely small (refrigerator could not hold a gallon of milk) and the sink leaked water almost as fast as you could fill it. (which we caught in a trash can) The staff was less than concerned. We planned on 5 nights,... more

It’s no Hilton, but it’s not Bate’s Hotel either. Every time I go down to Virginia Beach, I always stayed at the Seahawk, and had no problems. You have to remember it is an older hotel, between two huge “newer” ones, but still it’s not bad. It could almost be considered a surfer’s hotel. I would stay there again. more

This hotel is alright. Everything was clean and although the rooms got cleaned later, they did a good job at cleaning them. The hallways are some-what small and the rooms are an average size. If you are expecting a brand-name hotel, this would'nt be it. If you are looking for quality service than this may be the place for you.... more
