We stayed the weekend here and thought the room that we were in was adequate. The hotel is old and dated, but clean. Our room was fine for the weekend and we did not have any problems. The room was alright although audated. If you are traveling in a budget, this would be OK. Can something be done about that constant liking of water from the a.c. into the balcony? The decor and furniture were very dated. The bedspreads were typical 80's and the blankets were pilled and worn. We look forward to a yearly visit at the Sandcastle and wouldn't think of staying elsewhere. Rooms are clean and comfortable, balcony overlooking ocean is relaxing, and having coffee available is great. Breakfast is health conscious, and the treadmill etc is great to work out. more
