recently stayed here again after having been unable to return in awhile and had an excellent time as always. our first visit to this bed and breakfast was 15 years ago and every time we have stayed here the quality of our stay has been awesome. this time we were treated to newly renovated bathrooms which were wonderful and the... more

When we travel (as we do often for business and pleasure) there are a few mainstays that we look for: great accomodations, great food, and lovely surroundings. You can't beat the Fairlea Farm for any of these in this little corner of the world. Walt and Susan exemplify the best of inn-keepers; they are warm and friendly, without being too... more

We just returned from a one-night stay over New Year's Eve and look forward to returning in warm weather. Great location (near Shenandoah National Park) and views of the countryside, lovely and comfortable rooms (we stayed in the Rose Room, which has a huge and modern bathroom), and amazing breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, and several pastries baked by... more

This was a delightful spot just a short walk from the Inn at Little Washington and located a short drive from Skyline Drive which wends its way through the Blue Ridge Mountians...Beautiful any time of year! The owners are a lovely couple that really made us feel at home. Breakfast was superb and with a view from the Dining Room... more

First, the views from the yard couldn't have been much better--very scenic view of the mountains across green fields and a couple of country houses with occassional views of some cows in the fields. The owners, Walt and Susan, were instantly likeable and gracious hosts. They were very knowledgeable of the area, offered great advice on local sites to see,... more

Simply a Wonderful Place to Stay! Gorgeous views, spectacular setting, acres of pasture land on this real working farm. Very tasteful country decorated, spotless rooms with some luxury accessories recently added. This gracious couple prepared delicious breakfasts and provided us with truly personalized care. A definite spot for repeat visits. We loved it. Charlene S., Rockville, MD. more

If you want a great place to stay when you dine at the Inn at Lttle Washington, check into the Fairlea Farm. Only a short 8 minute walk (on country lanes) to the Inn (or a really fast drive, if it's raining!) - so you can enjoy a great view after a great meal. The innkeepers, Susan and Walt, make... more

Fairlea Farm B&B was lovely overnight stay for us after a dinner at the Inn. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, the new bathrooms are very large and modern and the rates are reasonable. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and very accomodating. Breakfast was delicious--seasonal and local ingredients. We would definitely stay here again. more

Nestled in the rolling hills next to the Blueridge Mountains my husband and I were thrilled to find Fairlea Farm as "charment" as the region itself. Breakfast, Beds, and Bath are key to a comfortable stay and this place has it all. The "Rose" room was 'la vie en Rose' with its white canopy bed and jet stream shower (so... more
