We had earlier read a bad review of this hotel on Trip advisor and we found it to be just the opposite.
Our stay started the 22nd of Dec. 2011 until Christmas morning. The rooms were larger than average, the staff very accomodating and the restaurants good during this time of year. It is 5 minutes to Busch Gardens and...

We stayed here in August as a stop to visit Busch Gardens on our way to a vacation in Myrtle Beach. We stayed a few days before Hurricane Irene hit. I read many reviews before coming here so I knew what I was getting myself into. We did not have a bad experience (had a few moments), but like other...

Like the last reviewer, we were also upgraded to a suite which was lovely because of the additional room to spread out, but had a few peculiar quirks -- the first was a white wooden L-shaped counter/bar area with open shelving in the back, a small refrigerator on the floor and a small microwave above the fridge. That's all -...

I have stayed at this Marriott quite a few times but not in the past five years so I was very surprised by how dated it looks. The lobby area was beautiful but the guest quarters were another story altogether. The front desk staff were terrific and upgraded me to a suite but, I found out in short order that...

The Williamsburg Marriott is located some distance from Colonial Williamsburg, in the Kingsmill area and as part of an office/retail park adjacent to Busch Gardens, close to the interstate highway. As with all Marriott properties we've ever stayed at, the staff at this hotel is superb--friendly, accommodating, professional. Check-in and check-out went smoothly; our requests for more towels, pillows and...

We stayed here in October for a combination golf/shopping trip with a group of friends. The hotel definitely needs a make-over but the staff, from the GM down to the housekeepers, are way above average for service with a smile. We loved the menu & food in Pitchers, the lounge, and we all enjoyed delicious breakfasts each morning. Any small...

Stayed one weekend night and everything went very well. Easy, quick check in and clean, spacious room with plenty of towels, micro, mini frig, etc. The bed was very comfortable. Next day check out went smoothly and no waiting. Location was kind of hard to find, the entrance can't be seen from the main road. i would definately return.

I have stayed at the Marriott next to Kingsmill a number of times and have always enjoyed the experience. My wife and I stayed here again last week for a conference, and once again it did not disappoint. The hotel and rooms are well maintained and I must say that the bed was one of the most comfortable beds that...

Our family stayed here during a weekend trip to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg, mostly for the convenient location and Marriott's good reputation. However, I would think twice about staying here again. First, the positives: All of the staff we encountered were very nice. The lobby was beautiful, and the furnishings in our room had been updated (beds, linens, lamps,...
