For a business traveler the room was not great but it did have a desk. Short on available electrical outlets. A highlight was that the restaurant staff did a top-notch job preparing dishes that met my wife's special dietary needs. She just had surgery and their attentiveness and helpfulness made a big difference. Spa with exercise room, pool, hot tub... more

We chose to book a stay at the Williamsburg Lodge where we got a great winter value deal. Our nights stay, breakfast, tickets to Williamsburg attractions, and a 100 gift card to be used anywhere in colonial Williamsburg. The lodge is nice. Old rustic feel. We were given a regular room with a queen size bed. The room was large... more

Family did not stay at WL, but stayed at another property. What this review is on the Lodges' Christmas Day Brunch. We entered with a very welcoming and absolutely cheery guest services staff. Seated, we were poured some excellent coffee and juice. For $40.00 a person we indulged in an elaborate display of brunch items. The options were almost limitless.... more

The Williamsburg Lodge was originally built to handle overflow from the pricier Williamsburg Inn, shortly after the Rockefeller restoration of this colonial town opened. Recently renovated, the Lodge is not inexpensive -- but it enjoys the perfect location for a busy family. Park the car and walk to the 18th Century, literally just steps away. The rooms are spacious and... more

We stayed at the Lodge 3 nights beginning Christmas Eve. The front desk reception was lukewarm at best and not what I had expected. The room was fine, although I've never slept in such a totally uncomfortable bed. $300/night I DEFINITLEY expected more. We were locked out of the room twice - access cards were deactivated mysteriously, and had to... more

We booked our stay at this hotel for a weekend excursion to Colonial Williamsburg. We hadn't stayed in one of their properties before, but really wanted to be within walking distance to the park. This hotel truly delivered and exceeded our expectations. I reserved the room online and requested one of the rooms with the hardwood floors for the more... more

Attempted to book the Holiday Package at the Williamsburg Inn but was quoted much higher price. Was told that the Holiday package was not valid over the holidays. I was trying to book a room for three nights the last week of December 2009. I re-read the website page and there in small print, it said the Holiday Package was... more

Make sure you keep inventory of items taken out of you suitcases for return to same upon leaving the lodge. If you forget any item it seems as though they can't find any left items as minor as a cell phone charger. I made three phone calls to the Lodge and spoke with house keeping and was promissed a return... more

Wonderful location on edge of historic area. Nice rooms, if a bit pricey. We stayed in Tazwell and were satisfied there. It's a haul from the main bldg but path is all under roof. Our king room was large and nice but bathroom was worn and in need of updating (e.g., mismatched tub & vanity, rusted fixtures). Nice to have... more

When my family and I ( a party of four adults) drove up to the Williamsburg Lodge, we were excited about seeing our room. The gentleman at the valet handled our luggage and stated he would have the bellman bring our bags to our room. We checked in went to the room, which took for ever to get to because... more
