Reserved their least expensive room and was amazed how large and clean it was. Spa was excellent. Restaurants are also pretty good. Staff is quite helpful in addressing any concern or issue you might have. Considering everything, a very good value for such an exceptional hotel.

We stayed at the Williamsburg Inn to attend graduation at William and Mary. What a treat. Our suite was located on the top floor and in a word it was spectacular. Large - comfortable - elegantly decorated. The staff was incredibly gracious and welcoming ... as we left the young attendant asked when we planned to be back again. Nice... More

It is always nice coming back to this "Inn". The name misleads you in very positive way. Golf courses and tennis courts are well maintained as always. People working here will greet you with the pride and the courtesy. While it is far away from Japan, we would like to go back some time not in the distant future.

We stayed at Chiswell-Bucktrout house in colonial Williamsburg. It's like staying in the 1700's. Small but beautiful canopy bed, period furnishings, but also the comforts you need in the 21'st century. Highly recommend this place. Ask for Maggie's room. Margaret Thatcher stayed there and it has a hidden bathroom. Love this place.

My BFF and I booked the afternoon tea at the Williamsburg Inn for $35 per person, including tax + gratuity. It was highly enjoyable; fantastic selection of finger foods, decadent teas, champagne or cider and impeccable service. My only suggestion would be to add music for ambiance. That would have put the experience over the top. My mother has attended... More

We stayed at the inn for 3 nights in May, 2013. Our room was selected at the recommendation of a young man on the reservation call desk, and it was fabulous. Here is the worst part of the news: it was almost 1/4 mile away from the front entrance. We were pleased since I told him we wanted a very... More

So much to say... will try to keep short & sweet. There really is a place on earth that believes in customer service way above & beyond what is expected. My wife and I last stayed in a colonial house in 1978 with our children and looked forward to another good experience. It was better than we expected. The Ewing Shop is room #3028, which is 150 feet from the main entrance with parking 25 feet from the room's door. Although it is separate from the main hotel, all of... More
