We stayed in a 2 BR unit, second floor of Building 36,June 28 to July 3, 2009. Thanks to previous Trip Advisor reviews we found everything good as expected and no negatives. Our Teens loved the game rooms (note there ARE 2 gamerooms) and we agree the $5 per day charge is more than worth while, but without the gamerooms... more

Had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom deluxe condo. PROS: (2) Free huge arcades; ample and comfortable accomdations for family of 5, free parking, close to Colonial Williamsburg and other attractions; CONS: condo smelled of syrup which we couldn't get rid off; not enough hot water; small master shower, not enough chaise lounges at pool, poolside bar never open and when... more

We just returned from a 7 day stay at the Wyndham Kingsgate. The location could not have been any better, located just minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, Bush Gardens, and Water Country USA. The onsite ammenities were great. The kids ( daughter 11, son 11, and neice 9) loved the pool and game rooms. We had a 2 bedroom unit on... more

We had a 3 bedroom lockout on the 2nd floor and a 2 bedroom on the 3rd floor for our extended family with 5 adults and 7 children. We stayed for 3 nights at this location with another 3 nights at Governor's Green. We did not hear any noise in our 3rd floor unit. Our family members in the 2nd... more

We recently spent a week here with out two young daughters. It was very nice and the staff were very nice and helpful. The only problem we had was that the site we reserved with stated that the one bedroom units have a king bed when it was a really a queen. Internet access was available in the unit but... more

This is the 2nd oldest Wyndam property in Williamsburg at 17 years old. Our unit, a combined a/b lockoff (3 bedroom) was nice, and well decorated. There were a couple of small maint issues (door knob broken and coffee pot cracked), but they were attended to right away. We were on a 2nd floor unit (of three floors), Not bad... more

We spent a week in mid-May in a "one-bedroom unit with mini-kitchen" under a timeshare promotional offer from RCI, the timeshare trading company. During our week, we saw the good, the bad and the just plain ugly of this resort. The Good: Location The resort is about half a mile off the US Rt 60 Bypass; far enough that traffic... more

The resort was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of amenities. Our building was a little older and we had a toilet that stopped up twice, but they were there immediately to take care of it. Everything was provided that we needed and the unit was very clean. Would definitely recommend resort. more

My family and I just returned from a very nice memorial day weekend at the Kingsgate resort. We had three separate one bedroom rooms in building 12. After reading the previous reviews, I had braced myself for some outdated rooms with period furniture but must say we were all very pleased when we saw that all the rooms were renovated!... more

Having never exchanged our home resort for a different location, we were pleasantly surprised to discover the advantages of doing so. Kingsgate is a compact but well laid out resort in the heart of Williamsburg. The 2-bedroom unit we had was roomy enough for 4 adults and a 4-yr. old. The kitchen was well equipped and the washer/dryer combo was... more
