My husband and I arrived at the Boxwood Inn. Unfortunately the owners, Sandi and Steve, weren't around for the weekend, but they did have an awful nice couple caring for the Inn and their two beautiful pugs. Upon arriving in the house everything was very nice and neat and tidy. Beautiful place with Christmas decorations. Our room was small, but... more

We recently stayed the weekend at the Boxwood Inn in Williamsburg. We had such a lovely stay because the innkeepers, Sandi & Steve, were professional and welcoming from the get go. They are well informed about the town and offered good suggestions for activities and local restaurants. Their home is beautiful! We stayed in the Jefferson Room and were delighted... more

The Boxwood Inn of Williamsburg, VA is certainly the place to stay for those looking for a Bed and Breakfast right off the pages of "Southern Living". The Inn is impecably decorated by the owners to reflect the charm of Williamsburg with beautiful furniture that is both comfortable and appropriate. Found the B&B a bit formal for outr liking. The food was good but hosts were out sight most of the time, so didnt get to know them. Not suited for kids because of the antiques. more

My wife and I stayed at the Boxwood Inn for two nights in the Washington Carriage House, and to say that we were satisfied would be a HUGE understatement. The house is beautiful both inside and out, our room was phenomenal in practically every sense of the word, and the hosts Steve and Sandi were just fantastic. When we arrived,... more

The B&B is an easy 1/2 mile walk to Duke of Glouchester street, so you can leave your car at the inn. Breakfasts were outstanding! I low-carb, and usually make do with what is served me without making a fuss. I failed to note in our confirmation that they would accomodate dietary requests. On our first morning as Sandi started... more

I'm not sure about you, but given the dismal economy, I'm looking for weekend getaways that won't break the bank and offer the same benefits of a long trip away. Upon arriving to the Boxwood Inn, I felt like I was coming home, minus the stress! Upon leaving the Boxwood Inn, I vowed to return! The hospitality of the innkeepers... more

The Boxwood Inn in Williamsburg should be the standard by which all other B& B's are compared. Beautiful home, beautiful room. And hearty breakfasts that can only be described as gourmet. The very best in Williamsburg! more

Five members of my family, all women, stayed at Boxwood Inn for four nights. We were all very pleased with our stay. The Carriage House was extremely nice and spacious. The owners were eager to please and served a wonderful breakfast each morning. We enjoyed the gardens, large comfortable porch and relaxed atmosphere. The decor was truly Williamsburg. Even though... more

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Boxwood Inn for our 25th wedding anniversary and our stay there was better than we could have imagined! Steve and Sandi are truly wonderful and gracious hosts. They made their home our home during our stay. The inn is beautiful and full of history. It is so close the Colonial Williamsburg,... more
